agreed. the missed call on manu's 3 that should have been a 2 and fisher's shot that should have reset the clock are inexcusable. its one thing to blow a judgment call, its another to blow calls that require no thought. a set of eyes could of made those two calls and sealed the game much earlier.

I will not count the Spurs out yet.....
but lack of fitnest, injuries, and or refs...isn't the problem.
The problem is the Lakers being in total control from the get go.

No one ready to give the Lakers credit yet? Stop whining about the officiating yet? Comeon...who thought 3-1 advantage before this series started? I mean I thought they would win but it would be in 7. I can't say I expected them to win a game in SA. I can't say I would have expected them to come back from 20 points down against a great team like SA.

The Lakers are clearly the best team left in the playoffs. They really went and took game 4 from the defending champions. From the start they took it to them. Throughout the game they responded to every run. Every time the Spurs made the mistake of taking bad shots in hopes of getting a lead...the Lakers made them pay. This is what championship caliber is.

Predicted that LA would win series 4-1, and that the Spurs would win game 3 before the series. Looking good thus far.

Heres the question of the night , How does Kobe only go to the line 1 time in 2 games in San Antonio ?

You can't say he didn't drive to the hole enough I dare anyone to argue this .

It looks a lot worse than it IMO. Spurs are playing smart defense on Kobe, they are forcing him on the perimeter, and they don't want to foul Kobe... when Kobe gets to the rim, its a somewhat uncontested hoop. Maybe you can argue like a handful of calls the past two games, but thats not really that much. Part of it has actually in my opinion gotten into Kobe's head, Kobe has stopped looking to really draw fouls... props to the Spurs, but Kobe is still playing good, efficient basketball.

looking at the replay closely, if barry jumps into fisher when hes in the air, its a definite foul. problem for the spurs is, barry didnt do that. he jumped "into" him after he came back down, and imo that is a borderline call/no call.

having said that, when he he didnt go up originally, he changed his pivot foot and its a travel. but then again, the refs havent been calling travelling in game 4..eg. duncans 4 steps earlier LOL

Great win for the lakers. Ginobili was back to his inconsistent self making costly turnovers, Radman after having a solid first half came out real flat and even air balling a open three; how a 3 point shooter does that is beyond me, Kobe played well hitting some big shots in the 4th but made a error that nearly costed the Lakers the game at the end, Luke Walton has just been awful all series and I would really like to see his minutes decreased, and Duncan was terrific even though his fg% was down; he made up for it by shooting well from the charity strike. Luckily for the Lakers they were able to pull off a victory were the bench had shot 7-22 for 19 points compared to Barry who single handedly outplayed the Lakers bench with a 23 on 50% shooting; if Manu had done any thing whatsoever the result would have been very different but same could be said for the Lakers bench. Right now the Lakers clearly look like the better team, tonight was suppose to be the type of game the Spurs were suppose to win; relatively low scoring. Lakers have shown the complete repertoire to win different types of games this series alone; comeback, blowout , and low scoring battle.

The foul at the end of the game was a foul but the reffing had heavily favored the Spurs throughout the game, especially with 2 plays that had happened previously; goaltend and foot on the line(Manu`s 3), so that point is moot since it had gone both ways leaning towards San Antonio and even both ways in the crunch.

Lakers still cannot come out flat footed or consider this series over, I still remember Phoenix like it was a couple years ago and I do not want to see a repeat of that.
