^^^He's a good shooter. He's not really athletic, but he has a pretty good ballhandling for a big man and can make shots if he's open. I think he'd be a great player to come off the bench as a 7th or 8th guy and have the team run some plays for him to get open looks. It's worth a try.

And it hasn't been proven but I actually think he can be a pretty clutch player. He made a clutch game winning shot in a preseason game last year, but didn't get much playing time in the regular season so I can't tell if he can handle pressure or not.

He can be a good addition on a powerhouse team like the Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Cavs etc. since he can provide good shooting off the bench for a cheap price (doesn't need a big contract). And since he's 6'9" he can be used to spread the floor a bit to make it easier for other teammates to drive in.

He'd also be good on the Nuggets, too. Extra firepower off the bench.

EDIT: This post is directed towards twenty23 about Rob Kurz. Not SidtheSquid.

lol heat fans are sooooo butthurt over this. Look you drafted a tweener pothead and Baby Jesus slipped all the way down to 14..Live with it.

I actually think Flash3 has a good point, Sid.

AR is still incredibly young, he just turned 20. Even though he's athletic as hell and has a crazy versatile game, he still needs some experience under his belt before he can be called a star. For now, just label him as a promising young player with great potential.

No need to make fun of other team's players. I like Beasley.

Butthurt? His analysis is pretty much completely correct. Randolph has a bright future, but the amount of hyperbole attached to him by his ultra-homer GSW fans is absolutely ridiculous.

He had a couple nice dunks on Yao in game. Big deal.

When Anthony "Magic" Randolph does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.

Veggamattic wrote:I don't care what his legit height is. This guy is easily the best prospect in the NBA. I have not shut up about him since before his rookie season.I think he is already one of the top 15 players in the NBA...maybe top 10. I would take him straight up in trade for Rose this minute. The only player in the league with more all around talent in every area is Lebron. This guy will stuff stats better than Marion in his prime. I know it's a bold statement but I think this guy has HOF written all over him and I'm not afraid to say it.

Some other dude on this board went off about him last season and literally 50 people were laughing at him and mocked him for 10-15 pages. Don't read what others say...watch. I've always liked to step up and make bold predictions because I'm not a coward like most posters.

If anyone knows of a place that I can make online bets about his stats for the season, I'd appreciate a link so I can take the over.

Whether he is 6' 9' or 7'2" we will witness the birth of a superstar this season.

You might as well put your life savings on the OVER for # of Warrior wins with the player you just desrcribed.

Veggamattic isn't even a Warriors fan. Warriors fans would never talk about Randolph that high. We only talk about him based on what we see from him.

Last month while visiting the zoo, I met Anthony Randolph. I even took a picture of him.

Anthony Randolph doesn't wear a watch, he decides what time it is.

Was it funny when you witnessed Randolph dominate James Johnson in Vegas?

Was Johnson even guarding Randolph? Because Johnson was playing SF and I'm pretty sure Randolph is a 4.

And I don't think Johnson is better than Randolph. I like Randolph but the amount of hype that he's gotten on these boards has gotten out of hand. I've heard everything from a PF version of Magic Johnson to a PF with the offense of Amar'e and defense of KG. Ridiculous.

I believe that was James Augustine, but okay. Nice to know that NBA players can dominate Euroleague players.

Johnson and Augustine took turns guarding Randolph and he embarrassed them both badly.

You're getting Randolph mixed up with the Morrow/Norris jokes.

True.

It's said he grew an inch during the offseason. So he's probably 6'11" barefoot now.

What's ridiculous is a poster becoming a mod when he's not even 13 years old. Especially when he helped ignite a crew that went running wild on these boards.
