He got it done in both Miami and Cleveland. Now he can finish strong in a city that's great for both him and his family.

there's no lowballing the spurs any longer. lal MUST get kawhi for next season. waiting on the spurs is pure dumb-worthy.

Ironic you bring that up because the very reason he couldn't get guys to sign on in Cleveland was precisely because he was on 1+1 deals and a flight risk

Well I still think he signed that deal with the Lakers because that's where he truly wanted to be at this point in his career and is okay with whatever (not like he has much of a choice now, unlike in Cle)

Doesn't mean I don't expect some moves in the coming days (with Kawhi being the obvious one)

No, SA lost all their leverage. Kawhi will only resign with the Lakers most likely, so no other team is going to trade for a 1 year rental.
Lebron told Magic not to maker any desperation trades.
I would give up Lonzo & some 1st round picks at most.
