I've said it before and people take offense to it but most people just don't care about the Raps winning it all in the states. Seriously. It might be one of the most forgettable championship runs in a while... In the states. People just wanted to see GS lose, they didn't care who did it.

maybe they'll pay more attention next year when we repeat 8-)

I'm pretty nobody outside of Colorado cares about the Nuggets winning it all either. Lakers are just "America's team" like the Dallas Cowboys and NY Yankees. Love em or hate em, they''re gonna be on your news cycle.

WE THE CHAMPS!!!! I don't care about what the American media says. Their takes are out of control... really crappy sports journalism these days.

People may not care that much, but the Nuggets winning a championship would mean more to people in the states than the Raptors. They're just easier to relate to and tie some sort of interest to. For example, city rivalries among the cities in the states like Boston Vs NYC. There are people that root against some cities here no matter what sport...Toronto is not of those cities. Know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean. Toronto has that healthy rivalry with it's Canadian counterpart Montreal so it doesn't need American interest for that.

But what city does Denver have that tradition with? I mean even the Northwest cites have a culture of rivalry there. Colorado as a state is in the middle of no where way up the skies.
