That dunk was awesome, I just don't understand the decision to bring out shorties to duck down. He could have gotten over them standing, he was very high in the air.

The only real 50 was DSJ's 2nd dunk. Mitchell's more like 46 or 47. Judges were trying to hype the final round.

Slam dunk contest needs to change three things:

Bonus points for best dunk in a round.Anywhere from 0-10 points extra awarded at the end of the round depending on how creative the round's best dunk was. Dennis Smith Jr.'s dunk was by far the most creative and best dunk in the contest - he should have made it to the finals.
Get rid of judges who have never dunked a basketball before in their life. In the case of DJ Kaleb, let's get judges who look more like basketball players and less like an actual basketball.
Get rid of props and product placements.

Game tomorrow better not suck. Or this whole All Star Weekend 2018 would be just as bad as having a Raptors vs Spurs finals... to be aired on NBA TV... in a 3pm time slot with players only coverage.

I thought he did it okay. He's just a smaller player so there's less extension.
