I think the covid vaccine is good and I received it, but I 100% support a person's right to decline it.

Prior to this, I felt Kyrie was an idiot.

But, someone should stand up for those who are essentially being asked/forced to undergo a medical procedure against their will.

In this case, Kyrie is fighting for a worthy cause and I commend him for it.

Obviously I have no idea what his intentions actually are, but at least he's a contrarian in a world of Yes men.

You can believe the Covid Vaccines are effective and healthy, and still support someone's right to decline it! The two are not mutually exclusive.

No.. if you decline the vaccine then you're a selfish **** and don't deserve to be let outside your home.

I know there's Kyrie megathread but over 30 pages. I feel it's better to make seprate threads when new information arrives instead of sifting through pages after pages.

No disrespect meant, but the entire point of the mega-thread is so that we don't have more threads opened. The forum gets incredibly cluttered when we do not crack down on maintaining the mega-threads. Because of that, I have merged the thread (which I assume is preferable to closing it).

To add, I've updated the Thread Title several times in an effort of providing the latest info pertinent to league matters.

It be great if you can edit OP and add links of post in thread that give up updates. So we can just go straight to that post and read the discussion from there instead of sifting through a bunch of pages.

It's extremely hard to pass up on generational wealth, which is likely why over 90% of NBA players are vaccinated (I was expecting only 60-70%), the NBA money is way too good....it'll be very interesting to see how far Kyrie takes this.

I'm god damn sick of this pandemic, and people like Kyrie are only making it take longer, and ensuring that we won't be rid of Covid anytime soon. I'm not sorry that I'm out of sympathy for people who are so selfish and lazy that they can't take a few minutes of their time to get a vaccine but cower behind buzzwords like "pro-choice" and "freedom" and "patriotism" and what not

Respect is a two way street, and people like Kyrie clearly doesn't respect the rest of us because he can't be bothered to take a few minutes of their time to get vaccinated so we can end the pandemic, so I don't have to respect them back. I literally can't stress enough how little effort we're asking them to put into this that they're refusing because they don't like being told what to do. Which is how toddlers behave.
