I always feel better when it happens though. When the losers start complaining about officiating, it means OKC is dominating.

Or you don't know basketball. I've played and coached. One team is allowed to be more physical than the other. That's all.
i think i know the reason why you don't have a coaching job anymore

Great game by OKC. Worked hard , stomped on the Pacers neck. I doubt they'll have a comeback here. It's too exhausting and Indy needs 3/4 guys to get hot.

17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists in a game with a 20 point lead is a stinker? He has one turnover.

Just like game 1, OKC feels like they should be up 30-40 points, the Pacers slowly chip away.

Thunder depth guys playing much better in this one ... I said before series started McConnell / Mathurin / Shepperd are Pacers weak points right now. McConnel just cause of overall talent level / shooting, Mathurin plays way too cool for school w/ low energy, and Shepperd isn't aggressive enough on both ends (beating his man to spots, or not shooting when open)

His shooting hasn’t been very good, he’s missing some stuff he should make, but that applies to a lot of players in this game

Re: 2025 NBA FINALS: #1 Oklahoma City Thunder vs #4 Indiana Pacers (IND leads 1-0)
My honest observations:
-It's not the reason they're winning, they've clearly just outplayed the Pacers this game, but the Thunder are allowed a lot more leeway on defense than the Pacers. They're allowed to be physical in a way the Pacers just aren't. Maybe some of that is on the Pacers, because they don't know how to sell fouls as well.
-Mathurin is a really low IQ player...I mean, it's almost a guarantee that his team will be in the penalty and he'll be super aggressive for no reason 60 feet from the basket and foul a known foul-baiter, and gift them FTs (he did it a few times with Brunson last series, did it this game with SGA)
-Haliburton is going to have a really bad series. He just doesn't have the bag to deal with this kind of defense, and he's just not a guy that's going to be able to get good shots off against this defense...it's going to be rough
-I think OKC has a lot of players that are very hot and cold in terms of home vs away performance. I think someone like Wiggins for example is going to have a tough time in Indiana
-Myles Turner is super soft on the glass. Brook Lopez got criticized for years for this, but man at least he boxed out. Turner has been getting rebounds taken away by guards and it's because he doesn't get his body on anyone
Anyway, not a super unexpected result. OKC really needed this game and came out with desperation. The Pacers still have home court heading into game 3.

OKC fans complain at the same rate as other fanbases. This is an NBA problem.

Pacers throwing live grenades all over the court
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

Aaron Wiggins has been huge for OKC tonight.

I love this retort, like you have a monopoly on basketball knowledge that no one else on a basketball forum has
I am not comparing basketball knowledge. I would assume most on RealGM have basketball knowledge. Fouls are fouls. Call them them the same. Simple concept of basketball. The next time Lu Dort throws himself to the floor trying to go over a screen, I am going to hit you up and see what your thoughts are.
