They changed the rule in the offseason to prevent exactly that kind of continuation bs. He did not start the shot before the contact. Not even close.

does anybody else remember the NBA's "points of emphasis" at the start of this season? Shooting vs non-shooting fouls (to outlaw the rip move essentially). Seems like since then they've paid even less attention than before. NBA refs trolling as usual
