Beal? Really, he was 37% from the field and 19% from deep last month. Thats a joke.

Drummond and Ross were both better on the month. I'd give the edge to Drummond for being the key in some big victories though.

Ross career high 26 points in a win against the Trailblazers. 8/14 from the field, and 6/9 from downtown.

I don't get Beal being ranked to high on lists and getting rookie of the month. What gives.

Ross is a beast. I don't think The raptor fans should be disappointed with that pick.

I would probably have gone with Drummond, too. MKG and Ross also were better than Beal, who was an oddly bad choice.

Really like Ross's game. Hardworking freak athlete with a J. Might be the 2nd best Swingman out of this draft.

One thing with Ross is that he has absolutely no driving game at all. He'll cut hard to the basket, run in transition, but asking him to penetrate with the ball is like asking Kobe to pass. And I don't think I've ever seen him make a lay up this season. He's dunked it, threw up some floaters, even had this pretty cool hookshot when he was coming off of a screen down low, but lay ups? Has yet to be seen.

It's really odd because it's not like his handles are bad. It's like it's been drilled into his head since the eighth grade he was destined to be a role player so he never ever worked on his driving game at all.

Still I love what we have in this guy.

Yeah I really like T-Ross.

Lol at Beal making rookie of the month. He had a solid stretch of games but are they just looking at raw ppg or something?

I wouldn't say NO driving game, but it's definitely the weakest part of his game. He's had a few driving moves this season where he looked in control though.

I think the promising aspect with Ross' driving game is that when he does get into the lane, he has a really soft touch. His floater could become a serious weapon.

Does Waiters ever shoot close to 50%, every game seems to be volume shooting and same points as shots.

I'm high on Drummond and Ross as of late. They've been playing promising ball over the past few weeks especially Drummond. I think he's going to end up the best player in the draft provided he works his ass off. It's strange, I often catch myself randomly thinking about the progress of these two. It's tough not to think about it while solo-ing some seed out.

Nice little video of Beal's 22 point game. (Note: I don't think he deserved rookie of the month for December)

I picked up Brad 'Wise-Ass' Beal in fantasy and then dropped him because he wasn't producing enough to keep on a roster. Someone else picked him up 2 weeks ago and now he's laughing all the way to the hoop as I lie there in a defeated pile, ankles snapped and proved worthless.
