People want new dunks and no gimmicks.

It's putting a ball through a ring, how many ways are you meant to do it?

So it appears. I didn't see that one unfortunately. I gave up on All Star weekend around the time Blake Griffin jumped over a product placed car.

Do it. Greatest dunk contest of all-time.

Judges kept giving them tie for a gazillion times and they kept coming up with something better and better and better. Degree of difficulty and competitiveness were off the roof.

Having them two win the title would've been the more fair and just score.

I bet that was an awesome experience to watch live. What the All Star weekend should be, and rarely is. I'll have to check it out.

Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon showed that you absolutely can come up with fresh stuff.

I'm envious of you tbh, having never seen those dunks.

Aarong Gordons mascot lounge dunk is the best dunk contest dunk of all time.

Hate to be the old "get off my lawn" guy, but I really hate what All Star weekend has become. It's all about the spectacle, instead of the events themselves. Then it's decided by DJ Khaled? Okay. Stop over producing. The gimics and props have gotten outrageous.

:D I loved this comment so much. Despise these “shut up and dribble” followers.

Honestly would love to discuss it.. Made a thread on the current affair board, but most users are oblivious of its existence. Censorship by throwing important topics into a board that no one knows of. Reminds me of a tactic used in.. wait nvm don't want to get started.

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

EDIT: Wait...how many warnings do you already have against your record? Wow.

I enjoyed the night. It wasn't amazing, but I enjoyed all three events. Booker vs Klay was probably the highlight. These events are rarely amazing, but I'm glad I watched. Best dunk for me is either Donovan's dunk over the 3 shorties or Nance Jr's bounce off the backboard dunk, IMO.

Love this! One of my favorite moments in the dunk contest in a long time. Jr wasn't quite as smooth as his dad, but it was still great.

Literally not one of the All Star Judges can currently dunk a basketball (and 1 out of 5 could do so in their prime other than at a high school boys level?). That's something else.

This is a TV event mostly for kids. In the past it was all about selling Sprite. I mean they're in LA, and think, "Hey, let's get Mark Wahlberg to be a judge." Not that they'd ask Kobe or Magic or Worthy to participate. Cmon, Chris Rock?

3 point contest sucked. Hopefully they learn and don’t put non shooters in like pg and Harris next year.

I could watch Nance Sr's like 20 times in a row. That little extra elevation on the finish. I love rock the cradle dunks in general. Always felt they were underrated.
