He will be an elite shooter at minimum.

My main criticism of him is that he cannot play PG at all or hasn't shown that he can lead an offense at an efficient statistical level. His assist to turnover ratio was putrid in college and putrid during the summer. His vision while great for a SF sized player is sub-par compared to a pure point guard prospect. You could try to play him at point but without reducing his turnover issues, he has no future as a NBA point guard. Without point guard skills, a player of his athletic profile is a role player shooter.

I actually wish we would play him at PG so the ball is in his hands more. Killian is just becoming a waste of time.

Yes I really think you guys need to put him at PG full time. PG reps is what he needs. Only way to improve is with more reps on the court. This half time PG situation hurts an essential part of his development. And he needs a lot of development as a NBA point guard.

Killian Hayes at this point is a lost cause at point.

Even last night's "good game" was bad shooting percentages. He needs to get going before it starts hurting his confidence on court.

Will lucky he play in a bad team otherwise he may not have that many chance  just imagine if he play for Raptors ? Raptors fans will going to cry everyday and ask for trade him  and I am a Raptors fans

Rough night for Cade scoring the ball but he was definitely hustling and playing defense. His shot should come over the next few games.

Also needs off the minute to restrictions cause he missed all of the 4th and half the 3rd.

Raptors love playing a 2 point guard system. Are you even a raptors fan if you don’t know their system?

Barnes loved the opposing fans loudness lol.

And he still grimacing and holding his right hand/wrist on that last attempt steal. Hopefully nothing serious.

The kid is coming off injury and hasn't played in weeks.

Tbh I'd be far more with Suggs' shooting that's been awful pretty much since he's gotten to the league and wasn't good in college either, where at least Cade has shown in college he could and he's taller that he can probably find more opportunities around the rim to get going.

Suggs did a lot of things out there good today. Shot isn't going down but not buying into the whole "better watch out bad shooting nights gonna ruin him!" stuff Raps fans are saying lol.

I do want him to find better shots and shoot better but rookie guards and shooting woes go pretty hand in hand.

Other than maybe 1 or 2 Raptors fan, Suggs has got the upmost respect from Raps fan. Most Raptors fans wanted Suggs before the draft so he has a soft spot with many of us.

I lurked the Magic board from time to time because I can't watch many Magic games and want to keep tabs on Suggs, and in your PGT many posters said something similar to Barnes. "He's nothing special, all he did was drill open jumpers"

1 or 2 negative fans from each fan base don't define the most of us. We're the biggest fan base on RealGM, so by default we're going to stick by Scottie Barnes and bring up his surprising start.

But Raptors fans have nothing against Suggs. We've been saying the same things as most fans. His shot has struggled, but he's doing many positive things out there.

I'm just floored that Barnes is far and away the best player on the court every night for the Raptors.

Barnes killed it. Such an impressive young player and his improvement has been outstanding. Hone in that midrange he really is going to be the modern Pippen/All Star Iggy hybrid.

Mobland tonight another great test against the Suns.

Evan Mobley and Barnes are in a tier of their own and it’s not even close.
