He's got shooting guard speed with a bunch of length.

I like him a lot, he's what you want from a modern forward.

The most impressive thing about him is he makes quick decisions when he has the ball.

13pts (3/4 from 3), 4ast, 3 stls, 1 blk, 2 TOs in 25 minutes for a rookie... I just don't understand bust but okay

And great defense.. Raps fans reaching again

Calm down lol. Didn't realize y'all would get triggered so easily. I'm still extremely high on Suggs but my point stands from earlier in the season (one I also made on the Magic forum), him and Anthony cannot co-exist.

I just feel like I've seen that little comment all the time in this thread from Raps fans in particular  . Even if he never becomes a #1 or 2 on offense he does a lot of nice things out there. Efficiency will come since no rookies are ever that efficient (maybe Barnes and a few others this year but otherwise rooks will struggle).

Cole is being forced into a lead ball handling role until Fultz is back and Suggs tightens his handle. Cole's best role is a #1 option off the bench which will probably happen when Ross is traded and Fultz comes back and healthy

You'd prefer Fultz as primary over Cole?

As a primary ballhandler until Suggs can take over, for sure. He pushes the pace really well and can get into the lane easily. Shot is way worse than Cole but yeah. Cole is probably better in late game situations and deserves to run a lot of the offense from the bench. I just think it's his most optimal role long-term but for now, Cole has exceeded expectations and is playing really well. If he can add that to his game in the next year or two it might be different, and Fultz contract runs out in 2 years so maybe things will change.

Kelle looked like he was getting his complete game back before he went down?

Who cares about Suggs, when Wagner is clearly the guy to look forward to on the Magic. Franz just knows how to play the right way and plays within himself.

Suggs did look Kidd-like with two big 4th quarter steals.

Kid has been a great leader already. He understands he's the #1 option while always playing team ball but takes over when its the final couple mins.

He was number 1 in the NCAA in clutch scoring last year I remember the tweet. Here he is at the next level doing the exact same thing.

Jalen Green scored 21 on good efficiency 6-14 and he's still an after thought for Rookie of year. He's firmly behind Cade, Barnes, Mobley, Wagner and maybe even Giddey.

From lock 2 not even top 5

Cade just has that IT factor in the fourth quarter. He’s never rattled and quietly takes over as the “alpha”. Doesn’t demand the ball, his teammates just simply gravitate to him in clutch moments.

I just don’t see Suggs ever being able to be that primary ballhandler. His handle is really bad for that role and he can’t go East-West.

He’s better as a big 2 IMO, where his defense can really shine. I think he has the capacity to turn into a good spot-up shooter. I just don’t trust him at all to run an offense, especially in the halfcourt given how limited his own scoring game is.

I doubt it. A star? Maybe not but certainly not a bust. He's too good on defense and his jumper looks fine. The shots just aren't falling.

Yeah Suggs will eventually be a Billups type of floor general in my opinion down the road

That is a perfect comparison I really hope it doesn’t take how many years to get to that level like it took for him, funny thing we had Billuos for a year or so before you pull up. Never even gave the guy a chance.

Very similar to Lonzo.

Cade last 3 games : 18 assist to 6 turnovers. Hopefully a trend in the right direction...

He was injured his entire time in Orlando if I remember right and didn't play a game. He was more of a expiring contract throw in as the Magic were trying to clear salary for free agency run that ended up being Tmac and GHill.
