Wolves barely went to Towns in the 4th. He must have been gassed.

Can't be a hero in a stat pad game.

Tonight Embiid had echoes of David Robinson's 71 points on 4/24/94 that was accomplished solely to win the scoring title over Shaq.

Kendrick Perkins talked last year about players stat padding.

This is what it looks like.

Which team has beat the both #1 seeds in each conference on a Monday?

That would be Charlotte. Thanks Tatum for the motivation. If only we played like this 7 days a week.

Embiid just has to make sure he doesn't miss 7 more games and he's got this in the bag.

Entering the season Paul George was my favorite player. I'm slowly starting to fall in love with Embiid.

Why is it stat padding when they can’t stop the dude? It’s not likes just chucking shots. They couldn’t stop the man.

It's stat padding when you're playing a non-competitive opponent you'd crush easily without Embiid and he takes 2x+ the FGA as his nearest teammate and he's still taking shots and is still in the game with less than two minutes left.

It is what it is.

Embiid is Mr January. That's his label so far in his career and the regular season is his Super Bowl.

Can’t disagree. He has to prove it in the POs. I think this is the year

The fact they get 70 from Embiid and still barely put away the Spurs doesn’t fill me with great confidence about their title hopes

As much as I rip him I actually like him and I hope he breaks through.

Ewing never did and he was unfairly dissed because of it.

Lol! You really do try your absolute hardest to diminish any great thing Embiid does. He made Wemby look like a small child this game. Embiid is the most unstoppable force this season no matter what you say Embiid is having the greatest regular season of the modern era by a wide margin.

To be fair to Philly, IMO they didn't play in a natural way tonight. If they play more balanced they probably wreck the Spurs.

Basically! And there are still idiotic posts in this thread claiming he can’t win MVP only playing 65 games lol. All he needs to do is meet the minimum number of games and it’s a lock.

He could play 65 games and this season would still be considered one of if not the greatest regular seasons ever.

Didn't you disappear after the Sixers got eliminated and Jokic won a ring last year?

Doesn't front running feel even a little bit shameless?

Nope here I am. And plus there was no reason to post in this thread after he won MVP.

Still on the season they are very reliant on Embiid.

Regardless of what you think about his playoff performances, it’s tough for one player to basically drag his team through to the finals.

He’d basically have to play like 2018 LeBron or 2011 Dirk.

I agree and have said this may be part of their postseason struggles.
