True? Yeah, probably.

A problem? Not for the Nuggets.

I think we'll win tonight but the Nuggets are famous for being blown out and then coming back with a vengeance so I'm holding my breath.

Good luck for tonight mate.

Each game is a reset. Ought to be a good one tonight.

OKC’s offense man got nasty lol.

This is an amazing comparison. He's definitely the MVP without a doubt after Jokic for Denver.

He was REALLY good the first 2 games of this series...

He deserves some heat for sure. Not tatum level though...

Jokic doesn't have any help?

Post#885 » by JustBuzzin » Sat May 10, 2025 5:05 am

Tonight his championship supporting cast carried him to a victory playing one of his worst games of his career. Enough about how Jokic doesn't have a supporting cast. He literally won a championship with this same core. Tonight the supporting cast bailed him out.

Aaron Gordon is the new Robert Horry!

Shout-out to the Nuggets championship supporting cast. 8-)

Nuggets have the same strategy with OKC/SGA but only JDub stepped up.

These are still NBA champions. May not be as good as they once were, but the core is still intact. Better be careful or the garbage will take you out.

I think the effect of Denver's elevation is real. Denver outhustled OKC and had more energy in OT.

I said it like 5 pages ago. I know OKC fans want to stick with their home grown team but you trade for Giannis and you own the league for the next 5 years.

OKC’s offense needs to come up with an answer when the SGA isos on top aren’t working. Problem is that it has always worked so they aren’t familiar with playing another way. It’s either that or Jalen Williams playing iso ball himself.

Jocic couldn’t make a 3 tonight and they still won because they shut off SGA. This Nuggets team is looking pretty formidable right now

They did. Game 7 against the Clippers. And we saw how that turned out.

One of the weirdest playoff games I've seen. Both MVP candidates were terrible.

I think Thunder's and Daignault's inexperience is showing. On the otherside, Adelmann has done an incredible job for a rookie HC. This Denver defense late 4th and in OT, taking away EVERYTHING OKC wanted to do, was amazing. He had the least amount of talent at his disposal in this game, and he made every last drop of talent they had work on both ends. Murray and AG's games were superb but the coaching has been outstanding.

They're too battle tested. Playing close grueling series with the Lakers/clippers/wolves/etc over the years. They've seen it all. I'm not confident that they will come out ahead either but Thunder isn't winning the series unless they play each game like it's a game 7? Like against the Mavs last season its a dogfight.
