That's my judge,

He's the dunk contest judge that the all-star weekend deserves but not the one it needs.

Love this! One of my favorite moments in the dunk contest in a long time. Jr wasn't quite as smooth as his dad, but it was still great.

I could watch Nance Sr's like 20 times in a row. That little extra elevation on the finish. I love rock the cradle dunks in general. Always felt they were underrated.

I have a couple Star cards of Nance with a still shot of this dunk. Among my favorite of my 7,000+ basketball cards.

He has nobody to blame but himself. They invited him last year and he turned them down.

Can't really blame them for not inviting someone who snubbed them once already.

Levine, Gordon, DSJr and Mitchell would be good. No room for Brown.
New York said Mitchell wasn't the guy you trade the sink for, then they traded it for Mikal, lol.

Mitchell’s last dunk was a disgrace to VC’s and aside from his first the rest were okay 8’s imo.

You all weren't kidding! :o That was fantastic! It's everything this year's dunk contest wasn't.

Aaron Gordon should have won though.

They weren't great, but everybody else was trash. Nance had one good dunk, but they obviously score on more than one dunk. Also, his dunk was good because it was creative, but not that impressive live. You has to see the replay to know it was cool. He also missed every single time, where Mitchell only missed like once.

The dunk contest was not so bad. Of course if you're going to compare it to the GOAT dunk contest bet Aaron Gordon and Lavine, and VC's dunk (Well, Mitchell brought it upon himself) it would obviously suck.

But relatively, it aint that bad.

I’m not disagreeing about Mitchell winning but it was as impressive as Kobe winning his dunk contest which was mediocre. The standard for any one of Brown, Gordon, Levine, or Feguson wouldn’t be high after watching that. So no I don’t think DSJ should return again although he tried the best attempts but if you’re gonna miss on every attempt then imo you shouldn’t get a chance right away as early as next year. Mitchell may just get in due to being a champ but he doesn’t really deserve it if there’s better possible candidates.

I rewatched it on YouTube. That wasn't bad actually. All of Nance's dunks were good. Same with Mitchell. Oladipo was good, just bricked his first one. DSJ just barely missed the cut.

I've seen several worse dunk contests.

At the end of the day the dunk contest should have 8 participants not 4 they should get a non judged attempt each to warm up etc. They also should have only former dunk contest winners as judges. They also need to go back to having semis before the final. Judging should not be allowed to reward props use unless said props increase the difficulty rather than increase the attention and nothing more

Way better than that thing with Jeremy Evans and Chase Budinger.

Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon say otherwise.
