Spoiler:
It's Just 2020 Harden. And before you say, "It's only scoring!" that's the point: the more stats you add, the easier it is to exclude other players from your list. He's the single best combo of PPG and TS% in NBA history... and "who's the best player on the team?" is getting And1's.

Problem is that Harden has never been great (for a superstars standard) in the playoffs.Harden can have the numbers he wants in the regular season, but if he doesn't dominate in the playoffs, his numbers in the regular season mean nothing

I'm not asking Harden to win the title, but just being dominant when it matter the most.

Not my fault!

Okay, I'll help you out.

For this season (I left out stats where they're tied):

PPG - Harden
3P% - Harden
FT% - Harden
2P% - Harden
APG - Harden
BPG - Harden
ORtg - Harden
PER - Harden
TS% - Harden
WS - Harden
WS/48 - Harden
BPM - Harden
VORP - Harden
PIPM - Harden
PIPM WINS - Harden
RPM - Harden
RPM WINS - Harden
RAPTOR - Harden
RAPTOR WAR - Harden
PIE - Harden
OnCourt - Harden
On-Off - Harden

FG% - Westbrook
RPG - Westbrook

PS Only one of these guys has been getting double teamed every other game all season.

I said right now...I mean like since 2020.

But I'm going to give Harden credit for having stopped wanting to do everything and always having the ball in his hands and putting Westbrook (or Paul before this year in the second half of the season of last year ) as a spot up shooter, since when Harden wanted having a 40 PPG season who was not good for the team.

But the lakers have a much better record than the Rockets.

Giannis
LeBron

Doncic/Jokic/Harden

It's Giannis's award to lose with James have a punchers chance. No one else really has a shot at this point tbh.

If the Bucks win 70 or more games and Giannis doesn't win the MVP, it will be the greatest robbery in NBA history barring no one.

It would be the most narrative-driven MVP ever. All the because the media continued to shoehorn Lebron into the discussion all year long.

No chance Giannis don't win the MVP at this point.

No chance we get to 70 wins either imo. The Bucks have a tough b2b in Miami tonight, another b2b in Denver, away games in Toronto, Philly, Lakers, Dallas and Boston. Also games against the Rockets, Raptors, Miami and Boston at home and we can only lose 4 of those while also keep load managing most of the players.

It's not happening especially if we lose tonight.

Reset it allowing 2 or maybe 3 picks, so we can get an idea for 2nd and 3rd.

Giannis is MVP, but Lebron has been playing like the best player in the league. Don't be surprised if he get some 1st place votes.

There's basically no chance he doesn't win. The only question is, will it be unanimous (it should be but there are a lot of contrarians and stupid people out there).

Cowherd is worse than Skip and Stephen A because some people actually take him seriously.

I mean he somehow used these as negatives against Giannis...
- Giannis is 29th in APG (he's actually 24th, and he's 19th in AST% - only non-guards ahead of him are Lebron and Jokic)
- Giannis is doubled teamed every time down the floor
- The #1 seed in the West is significantly better than the #1 seed in the East (the Bucks are 5.5 games ahead of the Lakers)
- The Celtics decided not to re-sign Al Horford ( )

2011 would still be more media-driven than this year if LeBron won.

This is such an incredibly stupid argument. The MVP trophy isn’t based on past playoff seasons. It’s based on the current regular season.
