I do want him to find better shots and shoot better but rookie guards and shooting woes go pretty hand in hand.

Other than maybe 1 or 2 Raptors fan, Suggs has got the upmost respect from Raps fan. Most Raptors fans wanted Suggs before the draft so he has a soft spot with many of us.

I lurked the Magic board from time to time because I can't watch many Magic games and want to keep tabs on Suggs, and in your PGT many posters said something similar to Barnes. "He's nothing special, all he did was drill open jumpers"

1 or 2 negative fans from each fan base don't define the most of us. We're the biggest fan base on RealGM, so by default we're going to stick by Scottie Barnes and bring up his surprising start.

But Raptors fans have nothing against Suggs. We've been saying the same things as most fans. His shot has struggled, but he's doing many positive things out there.
We have like 10 Raptors fans regular posting there.

Here's the crowd from last night.

wagner is definitely the best rookie so far in Orlando. Impressed with his poise.

19-3-2-1 steal. on efficient shooting.

The Cavs should be featuring Mobley more tonight.

It's like he's an afterthought when he's out there, SMH.

Kevin Love getting twice as many shots than Mobley just feels so stupid. The Cavs have 3 guys on the bench leading their team FGA

Kevin Love just being showcased for a trade probably if anyone is stupid to trade for Love. it will be okay.

Honestly, blame the US media and all the critics for this.

Pretty much everyone was saying the Raptors were foolish in picking Barnes over Suggs, giving Raptor fans a chip on their shoulder.

And yes, I know how annoying the Raptor fanbase can be. They annoy me at times too and i'm a Raptor fan.

As a Magic fan it is clear that Barnes is better than Suggs and there have been some poor sports about it in the threads(not saying this one).

For me the clear RoY is Mobley. He's the only rookie with a positive TPA and bulk minutes.

Mobley will likely be the better player in a few years, with a DPOY/HOF ceiling
but you chose a bad time to post this :)

He will be an elite shooter at minimum.

My main criticism of him is that he cannot play PG at all or hasn't shown that he can lead an offense at an efficient statistical level. His assist to turnover ratio was putrid in college and putrid during the summer. His vision while great for a SF sized player is sub-par compared to a pure point guard prospect. You could try to play him at point but without reducing his turnover issues, he has no future as a NBA point guard. Without point guard skills, a player of his athletic profile is a role player shooter.

I actually wish we would play him at PG so the ball is in his hands more. Killian is just becoming a waste of time.

Yes I really think you guys need to put him at PG full time. PG reps is what he needs. Only way to improve is with more reps on the court. This half time PG situation hurts an essential part of his development. And he needs a lot of development as a NBA point guard.

Killian Hayes at this point is a lost cause at point.

Dude is a lost cause at like 30 career games played? You are joking....please tell me you are joking.

You mean he's not the steal of the draft, and Magic fans aren't still thanking the Raptors for passing on Suggs ?

Scottie Barnes went 21 and 12 tonight and you guys want to talk about Mobley? Stop forcing it and shoving him down our throats. He’s good. We get it.

I mean some of you Raps fans are super insecure and argue in our forum about ****.

Enjoy Scottie. Most of us have said he's played really well so far, that's undeniable.

The NBA isn't about the first 2 weeks in the season though. I hope both of them have great careers.

You speak this way and you’re a MOD? This is the model of RealGM Society?

At least hide your obvious bias. You shouldn’t have favourites. You’re ruining this site. Don’t throw entire fan bases under the bus. Be professional.
