Dame has made it clear he isn't demanding a trade this season (in season at least), but if he does at some point and Simmons is still on the Sixers, I certainly hope so.

I don't know what picks they have to offer, but if the Westbrook experiment fails in LA, would a Westbrook and picks for Simmons deal make sense? Or is Morey probably so sour on the idea of Westbrook after pairing him with Harden in Houston that thats probably a no-go?

Of course not. They publicly threw him under the bus. Talking smack in private is one thing, but airing it out to the media always causes a mess. He asked for a trade as soon as the season wrapped. Most other players would have been moved during the offseason. They aren't going to get the type of talent they want in return for him. He's even lowering his value further with all this.

Tbh, KD is still pretty insufferable. Unlike Simmons, he’s got the talent to cover over his childishness / thin-skin to a certain extent.

He's not as good as he thinks, but I remember Dennis Rodman very well. Dude was making nightly news headlines for just having tattoo's and dying his hair. People hated him because he was different. Of course that seems silly now in 2021, but back in the 1990's it was sadly a thing. Simmons isn't making headlines in media outside basketball like Rodman was.

I wonder what Thursday's practice will bring. If Ben is going the Jimmy Butler route he needs to play his ass off in practice and then play with zero effort in the actual games. Plus he needs to start doing media interviews with hand picked "journalists" to smear the franchise and throw everyone under the bus.

I didn't see it already posted, sorry if duplicate information. Pretty damming claim by Bogut but not shocking.

Jimmy Butler is irrelevant. Ben Simmons is the center of the universe, and does everything his own way. And nobody can predict him. They thought he returned for his money, nah, he returned for his mayhem, and nobody has a clue what that entails.

Imagine Simmons leaves Philadelphia and he instantly becomes one of the best three point shooters in the league with high usage. That would have been the biggest troll job in the history of the sport.
