I like him a lot, he's what you want from a modern forward.

The most impressive thing about him is he makes quick decisions when he has the ball.

THIS. Franz really reminds me of Hedo with good defense, which was Hedo's weakness. Franz can handle the ball, doesnt force anything and doesnt rely on his athleticism, but is still pretty athletic at the same time which is weird.

As a primary ballhandler until Suggs can take over, for sure. He pushes the pace really well and can get into the lane easily. Shot is way worse than Cole but yeah. Cole is probably better in late game situations and deserves to run a lot of the offense from the bench. I just think it's his most optimal role long-term but for now, Cole has exceeded expectations and is playing really well. If he can add that to his game in the next year or two it might be different, and Fultz contract runs out in 2 years so maybe things will change.

Kelle looked like he was getting his complete game back before he went down?

Markelle is just a way better fit next to someone like Suggs. Cole is a score first Guard ( not even going to call him a PG). Like Soul said, Kelle runs an offense way better than Cole and I think he will open up Suggs' game with his penetration alone.

Not saying they're going to keep this up, but that pairing hasn't had any issues yet this season from an on-court success standpoint. And that's with Suggs struggling horribly with his shot and with turnovers for pretty much the entire season to date.

Cade has been unreal. That kid is so calm in the clutch and whether or not he becomes a primary scorer you can just tell that he's going to make a big impact in the league once he gets on a winning team.

I would put him right up there with Mobley / Barnes already after just a handful of good games, and it wouldn't surprise me if either of those 3 develops into the best player in this loaded draft class.

Wish we had Lowry instead of FVV.
Fred's selfishness hurts the development of Barnes a lot.

Any old-time clipper fans here? I said before I compared Franz to then-LAC Lamar Odom. Both similar height and position and the very few times that I saw LO play, it felt similar to Franz. Obviously don't compare him to MIA-Odom with Wade

With half the rotation out it will be interesting to see Kuminga/Moody finally get some big minutes..

Franz playing well. He and Suggs are both a little banged up.

Cade with 19/6/6 with 3 steals, 2 blocks on 50% FG with more clutch plays on both ends to get this game close.

Get this man some teammates and lookout!!

Cade Bustingham Godingham with 19/6/6 on 6/12 shooting to go with 3 steals and 2 blocks vs the Dubs in a close loss. People really underestimated his handle and ability to get to the basket. Super excited for his potential...he has the vision and physical tools to be de facto big point guard like Luka.

Not shocked by the assist to turnovers the last few games. His turnovers had more to do with being a bit loose and careless/playing too fast, his playmaking ability is absolutely good enough to be a team's primary ball handler and playmaker.

Looking like RoY is gonna be a three man race between Barnes/Mobley/Cade.

I caught this game and have seen a few of his others, but he looked really in control and showing out his moves. This was a fun game to watch. Huge future ahead of him.
Cheers

Yeah, people underestimated his playmaking after his low assist numbers in his college stint. Even with very few shot makers on the Pistons he's clearly showing that he can run the show at this level, only in his 10th game.

He’s only scored one bucket since this post. His teammates not feeding the hot hand or something ? Or he just cooled off ?

Combo of both. Sat for a long time and didn't touch the ball for a while then started forcing a bit.

Clearly cooled off.

Finished 8/18 and 4/9 from 3.

So went 2/11 and 0/5 in quarter 2-4. He helped get them that big lead, then helped them lose the game.
