I doubt he's really scared of Kyrie not being vaccinated. I mean who at this point hasn't had Covid? I don't even know anyone anymore that hasn't had it.

He wasn't scared of Kyrie lol. It's just, imagine your team has lost 10 in a row and getting beat down every night and your max allstar point guard chooses to sit at home and watch on TV rather than going to Walgreens for 5 minutes. It has to cause friction with teammates and the franchise.

And yes I know people who are against getting vaccinated see it as some major stand Kyrie is taking and respect him for it. But people who are vaccinated see it as absurdly stupid. And being a bad teammate. If you go to BK to play with Kyrie and he doesn't care about winning, why should you want to be there and help him win while he's sitting on he couch?

Why stop the blame there? Let's go after everyone who traveled international and brought it to my front door while minding my own. Let's go harder on who started it.

Kyrie isn't hurting anyone being unvaccinated. The whole time he was out covid was spreading all over the league like a wildfire amongst the vaccinated.

You didn't respond to anything I said as far as being a good teammate and helping your team. I don't care about his vax status in a vacuum, I'm talking about the impact on his team. Regardless of the what or why, he's choosing to bail on his team and teammates.

He's mad about Kyrie not getting vaccinated because he can't play half the time and is hurting the team for stupid reasons. Harden might go out and not do the smartest things but at least he was there for the team.

Sign me up for the newsletter when Kyrie details what he thinks will happen if he gets vaccinated. What a clown show.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Well I don't think he should have to make any medical decision based on anyone else's feelings. Unless you really think he's putting their lives in danger which clearly it makes no difference if they're all vaccinated and seem to all catch covid easily anyways.

His unvaccinated status changes nothing regarding anyone else's health.

That's fine as long as your accept the consequences of that decision.

The consequence is him not being able to play basketball and potentially pissing off his teammates.

I think we all agree that the NYC vaccine mandate is not only wrong, but is actually worthless at this point.

Instead of taking sides on Kyrie’s stance on the vaccine, we should call come together to address the real issue. The removal of an ineffective vaccine mandate law. That’s the true heart of the issue.

Kyrie just believes in getting attention.

He's the worst stereotype of a social media obsessed teen. Something so sad that it's supposed to not be possible and an extreme exaggeration.

And yet there he is, in reality.

He was a great guy when he was playing for Celtics. But he become a bad guy after he signed with Nets.

In reality Kyrie is much better person than lot of his fellow NBA players.

Lol
What? He’s frustrated that Kyrie can’t play home games and is a part time player. He doesn’t give a damn about Covid  wow

He's clearly a smart guy too, but just really susceptible to nonsense.

In what way has he shown that he is smart? It's pretty much impossible to be a flat earther and also have logic and intelligence. He is a great basketball player, but he reminds me of those people that watch youtube conspiracies and think he's an advanced philosopher for thinking outside of the normal reality.

There are two types of flat earthers. Those who know it's a joke and those who don't.

Hahhahaha this is comedy. That dude is still talking about starting and spreading Covid etc. That’s not the discussion here at all and no one gives a sh*t about that in this specific situation. Harden is upset that Kyrie is a part time player and not committed to do anything he can to win. That’s all. It’s got nothing to do with “being scared of Kyrie because he’s not vaccinated for Covid” lol

It’s not about impact others health in this case. It’s about being available to play in games. Lol Christ try to keep up dude

Myself and my friends have never had Covid.

But we've also been careful and listen to science and basic logic about how all viruses work.

So there you go now you know one. Made your day!

You mean the guy that averaged 27,4,4 on 47/41/94 splits and hit a game 7 winning three to win a championship, on the unanimous MVP and the best regular season team of all time?

Yeah, LeBron “managed” to win a title with that guy.

It would be funny as hell if the Nets draw the Raptors in the first round. Kyrie wouldn't get to play the entire series.

Don't forget Wiggins was in the same situation and choose to get vaccinated. He could've stuck it out like Kyrie, but he made the rational decision to get the shot instead of screwing over his career and letting his teammates play without him.

I'm willing to bet Kyrie has some elaborate conspiracy theory about the vaccine and isn't avoiding it because he's worried about an adverse reaction or something like that. News flash, Pfizer made tens of billions in revenue because of the vaccine. There may be a higher incidence of side effects than a typical vaccine because they were under development for less time, but this isn't some dumb conspiracy theory by the world to control people or something crazy like that.

It's less about his talent and more about leading a team with Kyrie on it and managing to keep him happy and stable, something that has proven to be basically impossible since he left Cleveland.

I would have been f'ing fuuuuuurious if I was his teammate. There was a dude on the Nets board who continually swore that everybody on the team supported him, and even before Harden bolted there was just no freaking way that was true. It couldn't be. Not for a stupid-ass reason like refusing to get an overwhelmingly safe vaccine that has prevented millions of deaths around the world. Ali going to jail because he refused to get drafted and fight in Vietnam? OK, fine. But not something that dumb.

I don't think anybody expects these guys to be robots and think/do nothing but basketball 24/7. Outside interests & causes are fine. But even if you throw out the fans, you still have a responsibility to the inner circle -- coaches, front office, support staff and especially your teammates -- to show up and do a job every day. Refusing to do that for the flimsiest of reasons is the epitome of living up your own a-hole. Straight-up selfish.
