Cool story. Is Boston having the #2 net rating, #3 offense, and #4 defense in the league impressive or not really? Barely a playoff team right?

They probably have the worse interia defense in the league, and a really poor defensive point guard. The only thing that can save them is their coach, but even Stevens can not preform miracles with this mess.

Ok I hate doing this but this post coming from a Sixers fan of all people is just hilarious. Oh have the tables turned my friend...

Crazy they have the #4 defense in the league and have 3rd best defense in the paint with all those matadors!

But ESPN analysts were acting like they were contenders in the East and a top 3 seed. I don't see that at all.

They basically have no front court depth and are heavily relying on Enes Kanter. And Kemba is no Kyrie.

I see them as a 6-8 seed and first round out. But Tatum and Brown will take a step forward.

Hmm looks like those "BPSN" analysts were correct and that Kanter playing 15 MPG isn't considered heavily relying on him. You are correct that Kemba is no Kyrie though. That's the difference for this year's team.

You were awfully close despite the troll attempt.

Tatum put up 26/7/3 on 48% FG and 45% 3PT the last 50 games, including playoffs.

Brown was at 21/6/2 on 49% FG/39% 3PT this year.

Seems like it worked out ok for the Celtics. Enjoy Kevin Knox and RJ Barrett!

I do when it's the Nets fans who were **** on the Celtics all season yes. They can't just get away with saying all this bull and not expect to be quoted months later. I'm sorry.

The best part about this thread was Nets and Sixers fans talking **** about them, especially the Philly fans. Losing Horford would apparently kill the Celtics lol. Some of these takes are incredible.

I have no problem admitting I was wrong.

The Celtics are much better than I thought they would be.

LOL I literally just made a benign prediction about the Cs and even said they would be fun to watch.

Why are you so pressed?

Yes I am a Nets fan. Is that supposed to be some sort of insult?

Realgm is littered with horrendous takes that age horribly, go check out any old thread. I tend to think thats the predominant reason why bumping threads is discouraged, you could hang most posters by the balls based on their old takes. But this one is beyond moronic. The context of the fail here is that this goof declared permanent shambles after the first pre-season game of the year. Do you even NBA basketball sir?

Honestly I don't have a problem with you responding to old posts, but if you're going to do like ten of these in a row, I recommend combining them into one long omnibus response post next time.

Yawn.

Worry about your own playoff failures.
