It's weird to me that neutral fans would root for a dirty, flopping, spitting fake nice guy like Chris Paul. Let's go Bucks!

At the very least, I hope Giannis is healthy so we can have a good, competitive series.

The Hawks are going to be a problem for a long time, the fact they have Trae and what appear to be two very good wings who can defend is scary.
Reddish and Hunter you mean?

And if they can revitalize his career, they got another in Dunn. Plus they have solid bigs in the middle

Yeah, Hunter was having a great two way season this year, and Reddish playing the way he did in these games has to do a lot for his confidence. That's a talented trio, not even including Okongwu or Collins.

Sometimes when the refs help them out and you have a lot of injuries even the good guys can't win. If we were healthy this series it would have been the Hawks winning in five. Instead, not having our second best player this series or last plus Nate waiting way too damn long to put Cam in was too much to overcome. Oh and the ref that didn't move out of the way that injured our superstar costing us game 3 when we were winning going into the fourth quarter and then not having him for game 5 or 6.

I usually dgaf about the playoffs after the Hawks or Twolves (when they make the playoffs) when they get eliminated. But after this travesty of being robbed I hope the Suns sweep the charlatans out of the Finals.

To the one decent Bucks fan, happy for you. For the rest of them especially the idiots that cheered when Trae got hurt I have nothing for you.

Why? You don't think people will root for the Bucks if Giannis comes back?

That's what it will come down to. The Bucks without Giannis aren't particularly likeable or interesting.

The Suns however have a rising young star in Booker and a legend trying to get his first ring in 16 years.

Hawks proved that they belong and will be there every year. Fix their injuries and the little things and they're legit, they're looking at years and years of being contenders.

Go Bucks!

Congratulations to the Bucks. Major props to Jrue and Khris for picking up the slack, and Lopez for finding his groove again.

This has to be the toughest matchup at the backcourt for CP3 and DBook , no?

It’s funny, they’re high when you compare to 2020 which is what most news is highlighting. Which is misleading generally given how crazy everything was last year, of course a back-to-normal state will see huge comps.

So compare it to the year before and let us know the numbers.

Difficult to get playoff data until well after the fact. But when you consider regular season data for 20-21 vs the 18-19 pre-COVID season, NBA viewership on average was down by nearly a quarter. That’s huge, and probably a big reason for instituting a play-in to hopefully capture more markets watching more games.

It’s exciting for people to be able to watch games in person, but the NBA wants people to forget they have a major viewership problem that was an issue before COVID.

Gotta be happy for Jrue. Seems like a genuinely a good guy and cool to see him get a chance to play in the finals

Giannis doesn’t flop but his game is just as dirty and ugly to watch. Like we are rooting for a PF who shoots more air balls than Dwight Howard

Hawks fans would though.

Trae left it all out there and I don’t blame him one iota for this loss. The Hawks for all intents and purposes shouldn’t have even been here, it’s weird in a loss but this season feels like a success. A superstar was born this playoffs in Trae Young and the Hawks team has a lot of promise.

CP3 winning the WCF in the Clippers Arena and Bud winning ECF against his former team's house is kinda poetic

Hawks say no. At least the kid has the balls to try and make **** happen, even if he isn't much of a shooter and scorer at this point in his career. Simmons is fools gold, will look decent in the regular season until the playoffs come around and he starts playing like Renaldo Balkman with playmaking.

Goodness gracious, just go stand next to them to talk to them and ask them questions. There is no social distancing going on down on the court right now. After every question, "Sorry what? I cant hear you."

We would have beat the Bucks easily if we were healthy. Its disgusting to know your team lost only because of injuries and absolutely one sided officiating.

Hopefully we're healthy next season in the playoffs. Look at what these boys did in their first playoff run ever.
