57:43 for Germany after the third. Amazing game by the team. Schröder is struggeling but Lo, Giffey and Thiemann are stepping up bigtime. Let's bring this home guys. :)

france is not it, no one can score except fournier & yabusele

it wouldnt surprise me if we beat them again and that would open doors for their early exit from the eurobasket

Other possibility:
France ends 4th of group B, and then plays against 1st of group A: Spain. Their favorite team now with Team USA ^^ After this, everithing may happen ^^
LA 2028 (Starters):
Francisco - Strazel - Malédon - Traoré ?
Coulibaly - Fournier
Risacher - Cordinier
Yabusele- Hoard - Essengue/Penda?
Wembanyama - Lessort - Raynaud / Beringer /Sarr?

Ok ... Next year we activate cheat codes: Victor Wenbanyama + Joel Embiid :)

Germany looks to be in great shape. After beating Slovenia, they are now on the precipice of beating France too.

We really do. Let's see if we can take the momentum into the next games. It's maybe the most talented German team ever. Schröder, Theis, Wagner surrounded by a bunch of good Euroleagueplayers who know their roles. And our NBA guys got outplayed by our Euroleagueplayers today which should give the team even more confidence. Let's goooo. 8-)

And Kleber, M. Wagner, Hartenstein, Bonga and Zipser aren't even there. Very deep team if you ask me. :D

"Who is absent" might be the key. After Parker retired, with De Colo, Heurtel and Fournier I thought "no matter, our offense is really better than two years ago. So remember 2017 for France: a real shame with no offensive leader and not any one to make some correct defense. So imagine Germany with all its NBA players, would it be a better potential? Certainly yes. A better team ? I guess no. This german team shew that it was a real team and not a sum of very good players. And with some more NBA players, maybe your euroleague or even eurocup players would had not played so good tonight, maybe DS would had try to be the hero of this game.
For France, Fournier is an offensive leader and Gobert our defensive leader. But our true leaders are Batum and De Colo, and tonight France really misses them. The real deal is to find who will be the next leaders.

Had Dirk had them as his supporting cast, would have been medals every single year except for some circumstances where you're matched up with prime Spain in the quarterfinals and lose a close game to a tough opponent.

Lithuania made too many mistakes to have had a chance to win.
Doncic gets the superstar calls even in Eurobasket. Made the game less enjoyable for me.

Sabonis wasn't even mad when refs decided its unsportsmanlike, everyone knows the rules, and no one really wants to see opposite elbows fly near their faces, intentionally or not, its unsportsmanlike.

Agree. And how can someone even say "he got hit" and then say "should have been a no call" in the next sentence :noway:

Every time someone gets hit, it's not a foul, i just said he exaggerated the foul & was smart to do so.

this one was elbow to the face/nose. trolling much?

Congrats, neighbour btw

Very bad showing from our team but most of the credit comes from your players.

Even though i was not very optimistic before the start of that Eurobasket ( a guy like Tillie would have helped today, even Ayayi since we never used the midrange and we were way too short at some position, esp. the wing & the pf spot).

Third time in a row Germany beats us in eurobasket though, not necessary a surprise (esp with Maodo Lo who defintely likes to play against us, but he's a nice guy & player so it's ok ^ ^).

Referees were just a bit bad, not awfull as expected on the first day. It's sad that championship like that, with many stars finally there is refereed by worst group of refs ever assembled for major competition. Im pretty sure, refs will decide who winner is.

Btw has some1 a video of last play from Montenegro - Turkey game. Somehow broadcast crew thought its more important to watch replay of a 3 from Korkmaz that changed result from +1 to +4 then foul call on last play that really decided the game.

That seemed like a pretty clear call to me in real time, to be honest. It was indeed an offensive foul.

I am ok with Lithuania loss, you won’t win two games in a row against Slovenia.
