I don't think the deal is terrible for ORL.

I'm not sure I would want Affalo as my key piece for a rebuilding trade. He seems like a better complimentary piece with a contending team than someone to build around. That said, they're getting:

a. Affalo. How valuable of a piece he is is a matter of opinion.
b. Harrington - Contract is only partially guaranteed the two seasons after this so he could be a trade chip down the road.
c. Prospects - Harkless, Vucevic, maybe Ebanks from the Lakers
d. Cap relief - J. Richardson is going to PHI and I suspect at least one of Duhon or Q. Richardson is going to LAL
c. Draft picks - 3 1st round picks according to reports

I don't remember exactly how much cap relief ORL got in the old Nets trade, but I think this is better than a trade built around Brook Lopez.

LA, Philly, and Denver come out great in the deal. The Magic get killed. I mean you rarely get equal value back when a player demands a trade but you're telling me there isn't a better package to swing Bynum for in a 3 way? With this crap the Magic should have just taken their chances on an extension with Bynum, assured him he was their franchise player and prayed.

The Lakers look really formidable next year: Nash/Blake/Kobe/Artest/Jamison/Gasol/Dwight/Hill.

And while I love Bynum's fit in Philly, they're giving up a decent amount (2 recent 1sts and a future 1st) to make the swap from Iggy. Still a good deal on their end.

Denver gets really good value.

And Orlando... Well, it could be worse. I don't think it's *as* bad as some of you are making it out to be. But it's not the move you'd want.

when you lose out a franchise player, and get nothing in return. It's very bad.

Look what Denver got for Melo, and Jazz for D-Will compare to what Orlando is getting.

They have hands down the worst FO in the history of NBA. They've had so many all stars in that team, and didn't know what to do with them.
