Bron won MVP before he had Wade/Bosh, you know, back when he took a mediocre Cavs squad to the NBA Finals...

Bosh 7th best pf
Wade 4th best sg

Ray allen best shooter in nba history

He is surrounded by incredible players. However we've seen him surrounded by mediocre players with a **** coach and he won MVP and went to the Finals...

Are you implying Durant and Paul George are not surrounded by incredible players?

But did he win a ring!!??? Dirk won a ring with jason terry....so please dont attempt to bring up teams...

Paul george nxt best is hibbert, hibbert at best is a poor man bynum in his prime...hibbert been in the league how man yrs he finally broke out last yr when who started leading the team???

Wade and bosh are top 5 on both ends of the floor...u wont count on ibaka or hibbert scoring to win u a game like bron can count on boshes...durant has westbrook but after him and surge its a huge dropoff in talent...pacers didnt start getting recognition til paul george started getting recognition

Lebron won mvp with the cavs, so? He couldnt win a ring, u cant take a team that far and then blame them for coming up short on the big stage...durant didnt blame westbrook or harden for the finals lost...

Teams make gameplans around john wall...whats your point?

Lebron is good, but realize hes in the best situation a small forward can ask for...and he didnt make tht situation he signed onto it...

Hakeem, barkley jordan = lebron wade bosh, remember that always...
Pay your beals....or its lights out!!!
Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

At this point it's between Lebron, George, Durant, and Aldridge. This can easily change in a short period of time (as we saw Love start out as a top 2 candidate only to drop a bunch of games), but I don't get the Chris Paul love here. The Clippers are tied for 4th with Houston and are 5-5 on the road.

So going by this logic, I guess MJ shouldn't be called the G.O.A.T since he played with great players like Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Steve Kerr.

What do want to say, that PGoerge is a better player than Lebron?!
However the MVP ladder is a joke, lebron shouldn't be in the second place!

Durant with an easy 29-8-4-3-2 on 11/17 shooting tonight. Thought his defense was suspect at times against Portland (especially on that play towards the end of the game...obviously) but he was great on both ends tonight.

He's starting to come around a little bit, too. He was missing shots in November that he was making at a high clip the last two seasons, and now he's starting to make them again in December. Someone may just need to trick him into thinking every season starts in December...and there's two of them.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

OKC has played a pretty tough schedule this year. Eventually were gonna start playing some of the weaker teams in the league more consistently, and Durant's numbers are gonna start improving.

MVP is Durant's to lose. He's playing more like Lebron than Lebron is this season. Shooting percentages will definitely come back up. Should be the year for him.

And lebron's play won't improve? :/

Last year was the same crap about its durants to lose, until lebron exploded.
Last year this time btw, lebron was averaging 24-25 ppg on 50%.. So id say he is actually doing better compared to his trend last year.

Two sides of a coin buddy.

Thanks for your time.

Sometimes I wonder about the logic on here..

Has LMA overtaken CP3 in 4th place?

I know it was only the Jazz they played today, but he and Portland's starters have been unreal. LMA had a plus minus of +45, with 20 points (7/14 FG), 15 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals in only 29 minutes.

As of now
Durant
Lebron
.
George

I really think that it will ultimately come down to Records.

If its between Durant and Bron whoever has the better record will win it.
I think George has to clinch HCA overall in the nba for him to have a chance

Scottie was versatile but he grew with the bulls, its lik if rose wins and jimmy was the 2nd option...u wouldnt discredit rose becausw of tht, he grew into that player he didnt sign over in his prime
Rodman was defense and rebounds
Kerr was a shooter,

Bosh and wade are both 2 way players offensive/defense ...and both were leaders on their respective teams before lebron...

Pacers lose without paul george
thunder lottery without durant
Blazers are lottery without aldridge
Clippers can survive without paul
Heat can dominate without lebron, maybe not night in and night out but they can definitely win

I wonder if anyone actually believes this?
Not one of these superstar leads their team in points, rebounds, and assists last season save for the MVP.

That alone should negate this post.

Thanks for playing.

It's almost boring to vote for Lebron again. But it's hard to deny him. I can't see anyone getting MVP besides Lebron James at the end of the season

Maybe Paul George has another leap in him for next year... he needs to clearly surpass Durant to have a shot at this. But that seems nearly impossible, even at PG's current level
