This was a rebuilding year for the Raptors. Nobody expected them to finish 5th in the East with how many young, inexperienced players they have. A testament to the program in Toronto. If I were a Raps fan I'd be ecstatic that I get to see my team play post season ball and have the young guys get a chance to accelerate their development.

Winning at this stage isn't expected at all. So, I don't really get the hate from other fan bases about the Raps **** the bed. They over achieved to even be here and should be applauded for getting this far at this stage in their rebuild.

Vanvleet didn't play in the All-star game this year? Now Maxey is better than Siakim, OG and Barnes? Hmmm.

I wonder why everyone picked the Raptors to win this series...

Nurse is a great coach. The Raptors are a talented team. Both can be true. The Sixers are playing very well, the Raptors lost Barnes, and FVV isn't hitting shots.

I've noticed a lot of fans doing this. The coach of the team leading the series is outcoaching the coach of the team losing the series. Nurse is obviously a better coach than Doc even if the Sixers sweep.

You have to give Doc credit for putting Embiid on Siakam. It really stifled the Raptors offense. But Doc's end of game coaching is worse than even below average coaches.

FVV and Siakam are 28 year old All Stars, they should have finished 5th in the east.

FVV shoots .396 from the field in the playoffs. He's always not hitting shots in the playoffs.

Definitely gotta give it up to them, they've been great, especially in those first 2 games the support guys were excellent. I thought they actually got outplayed handily in this game, but embiid just put the team on his back and took them to victory. Superstars win you games you don't deserve to win, what a luxury. Because Nurse is the most overrated coach in the league? Take away the year he was gifted a top-5 player rental (and a finals against a maimed team) and he's done way worse than Casey did. He obviously has less talent at his disposal than the Sixers here -- they were never going to win, even if they had Red Auerbach coaching. But I don't get the hype. At all.

Awful awful take. Nurse is a genius. Every roster in the playoffs has an elite bucket getter on there team aside from the Raptors. They committed to trying a completely unorthodox roster construction and in year 1 of the experiment he's got the roster to the 5 seed. Gurantee you there's maybe 2 other coaches in the league that would've even gotten this roster to .500. I also thought he coached a great game today and our 2 pluggers just **** the bed. His schemes on Embiid have made life really tough on him, he just hit some circus shots today.

Nothing to post. Can't use the Referees as an excuse for losing, because there was no foul or FT discrepancy. That eliminates 99% of their ability to discuss post game.

Nah miss me with that bs. There's been alot of Raps fans giving credit to the Sixers after that game. It was great basketball and fun to watch. The first 2 games were borderline unwatchable, that's why everyone was so pissy. Wasn't only Raptor fans

Raps lack of half court offense is horrifyingly bad. I dont think they can be competitive if FVV or Siakam are your best options there. They'll be a RS team until they get a decent perimeter threat thats not a 3+D guy (which Trent and even FVV are)

What's with this Philly dude who keeps talking about our multiple All-Stars? There were something like 5 teams in the East with multiple All-Stars this year, Toronto was not one of them.

Imagine counting former All-Stars as current All-Stars and then making a claim that if you have 2 you should be Top 5. Both Fred and Siakam have been fringe All-Stars at best, FVV didn't even belong there this year over Siakam.

Show me your prediction before the season where you had Toronto Top 5. It doesn't exist.

Or it was the middle of the night.
Most of us have been talking about the game and not complaining. Why mess up and derail the thread with this baiting bull.

Man some people can resist being childish when hidden behind a computer.

Because if they don’t switch it up and say that Toronto is better than predicted it hurts there narrative. Want to make it look like Toronto choked because somehow that makes them feel better than just winning a series. It’s not enough for them. When reality is, sixers are just a better team. That’s it.

Philly isn't the better team. There's just a conspiracy among the refs because Toronto is rebuilding and they don't want them to get too far too fast.

BK you talk about the refs more than anyone else

I don't think there's a Raptor fan in this thread who wouldn't say Philly is the better team
