I mean, it's gotta be a concern. They have everyone but Bruce Brown, and they aren't dominating like last year. I get the Chip hangover, and most likely they'll be fine, but this has been going on for a while.

Why do you care about Denver though? Embiid is the front runner for MVP so why concerned about Denver and why bring it up in a MVP thread. I mean this is weak

Jokic with 24/9/7/2/2 (0 turnovers), 66/100/100 shooting splits, +18 with him on the court at the moment

Nuggets down 2.

Lol. Crazy supporting cast tonight...meanwhile two players provided 64 points to support Embiid's slow start tonight...

It's like clockwork. Do you have a bell that goes off anytime Jokic is mentioned?

Why did you bring up Denver in a MVP thread snd then criticize someone bringing up jokic. That’s weak

That witty response would make sense if your post mentioned "Nikola", or "Jokic" at all...I just checked in on this thread during free throws...

Also, pot calling kettle black

Jokic is now above Jordan and LeBron in career BPM (pretty good company), and just leads Embiid this year (141 vs. 12.6 partially due to games like this where they're winning by 18 with him on the court, but getting blasted when he's off.

Luckily shorter rotations in the playoffs happen, and Jokic is capable of playing almost 40 minutes a game as we saw last season in his historic run (39.5mpg)

Their performance will weigh in on Jokic winning MVP. He'll definitely make a run.

Last year was a fluke. Again, Jokic is bad at defense

Luckiest 16 4 playoff run ever. You make it so easy thank you.

You actually need a lot of luck to win the chip. The record of teams that the Nuggets faced was not a murderer's row of opponents.

So it was luck then. Nothing to do with Jokic’s historic play. Come on now. I expected better from you. You could say lucky if Denver didn’t run through the playoffs like they did.

Don’t quote me. If you think they’re winning again, that’s on you. Won’t even hit the finals

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

But Denver can only play the teams in front of them, right? Boston beat Philadelphia, Miami beat Boston, etc. Nuggets can't force the NBA to let them play Boston or Philadelphia; it's on those teams to take care of business.

Lakers snuck in via play-in, but they still have a top 2 GOAT. Would you ever feel comfortable counting out LeBron with his track record? And let's be real - those games were razor close and could have gone either way. Took some rainbow 3s from Jokic over LeBron and AD to take the Lakers out. (RealGM needs a sweat emoji lol)

Suns were actually favored over the Nuggets, but Jokic went nuclear in the series. Even then, Booker was doing his own MJ impersonation that had the Suns take 2 games off Denver.

Minnesota was a "play in" team but had just started gelling as a team after KAT came back from injury and we're seeing the fruits of that camaraderie this season as they sit atop the standings.

One of the greatest runs by Jokic, no doubt. Some teams could have been better but had issues.

Heat with injuries, Wolves had Nuggets tight and then their own self inflicted injuries.

Not dominating but have almost an identical record to the 3 seed juggernaut Sixers who’ve had an easier schedule.

So by that logic let's not **** on Embiid when he's dominating bad teams in the regular season when he has no control over the schedule.

Ok, if Jokic/Murray both play a full playoff run, you're saying they won't even make the Finals right?

If you're confident, take the summer off posting? From game 1 of the Finals until game 1 of the following regular season, you won't bless us with any more of your posts?

I'd take that bet, I'll take the summer off posting if the Nuggets don't make the Finals (with Jokic + Murray being in jerseys for the games, not in suits on the sideline)?

Or are you just throwing out 'hot takes' for the hell of it?

To be fair there's a huge difference between even the worst playoff teams, and the Pistons/Wizards/Hornets(Embiid got to face these guys 6 of 7 games in a row)...I didn't do the math but I feel like those 3 teams are on pace for ~ the same amount of wins COMBINED as the worst team the Nuggets played last year. Seems like it, but didn't do the math lol.

Jokic played through a wrist injury during that wolves series or that would have been a sweep. So I don’t know why bring up injuries

Same logic applies, you can only play who is in front of you. And he proved all those conspiracy theorists wrong with his utter domination of the best defense and best team in the West.
