It'll be funny if everyone is healthy and Cavs win tonight. Everyone will be like "they're back!" .... "Pacers suck again" and start slotting in Cleveland to the ECF.

People are just entirely too much creatures of the moment.

Offering the Pacers at home at plus money against a shell Cleveland team wouldn't be in their best interest. You can often tell if questionable guys are expected to play based on the betting lines in NBA and NFL. If they didn't expect them to play this line would be Indiana -5 or 6 most likely.

the line is crowd sourced. it would be the average better not the average bookie who thinks Cav guys will play. maybe it is better said that the bookies feel the betters will think the guys will play. that would set the initial line and then the line would move as bets are received on one side or the other,

I completely understand that. But as a regular bettor for NFL and NBA, you can usually tell based on a line early in the day if questionable guys are expected to play by the sportsbook, and their info is second to none. In this case, it indicates they are. I guess we'll see around 7pm.
