Wonder who will be a better rookie between him and Milos...

Still on bad shooting night. He has a lot to improve, still a little bit raw, but he'll get better, it's just Summer League, give him more playing time with the grown ups and more NBA experience and he'll be fine. Lonzo will be a great player, he has the potential for it at least, only depends on him if he'll achieve it or not.

If he's rushing, it's just nerves. His natural release is quicker than the average PG and almost identical to Klay's (0.02s slower).
Getting his shot off isn't a problem. When the game slows down for him they'll start going down.

Love his attitude. Doesn't get too high, doesn't get too low.

On Ball:
He is is going to be a great player but not in a way everyone was probably thinking he was going to be. He like ALL rookies will need around 2 years before they are truly effective in the League. I think the hype made it seem like he was going to dominant from day 1, but that's unrealistic. He's a poor shooter and hella skinny. I don't see why he can't improve those by year 3, and bring a really fun brand of basketball back to LA.
On Tatum:
The prettiest wing scorer I've seen in SL since Melo. *Insert obvious caveat that it's only SL doe*. At the very least his technique leaves you speechless with both his moves and footwork. Similar to Ball, I don't think we'll see where his trajectory is truly going to go until Year 3, but right now I think Brad Stevens is excited to develop a talent like him. He has all the moves, but with age I think he will be more efficient in converting them. He had both good and bad plays on defense, but his rebounding has been a surprise so hopefully he can get significant PT.
KD?
KD's game is pretty in a different way. I'd describe KD's game as effortless while Tatum has an advanced arsenal of moves.

It's almost like basketball is a game of high variance. Playing with NBA players and against NBA defenders will show what he's made of. Until then kind of a whatever situation

Hes going to be special in this league, and with the ball in his hands all season long, he could eventually break the triple double record.

Well, it's certainly nice to not hear the "LONZO IS A BUST" crowd for at least one night.
Oh, and this performance also means nothing. None of these performances mean anything.

This man is the most discussed rookie in recent history. Lavar Ball's mouth has turned the horrible Lakers into the 3rd or 4th biggest storyline of the upcoming season. Lavar should be getting a blank cheque to lead marketing teams from every corporation in America.

Kinda forget how young Fultz is sometimes. He looks like a kid. Once he fills out (body and game wise), ****. I don't think he even realizes how many tools he has yet.

Enlighten me ...... there is a HUGE difference between complimenting his dazzling work tonight vs. Haters like you projecting him to be a bust.

I think underrating fox if you think hes not close to wall as prospect. Hes better pure athlete than wall imho. Wall has the better size/dimensions than fox. Also fox jumpshot isnt good by any means but not bad. Bad would be like rondo rubio dunn..hes better shooter than those guys.
Even if Fox is a better athlete Wall was still close to elite in this regard with great size and an absolute blur in the open court. But the point of my post was that Wall in high school and college showed much better vision and playmaking than Fox. Not saying Fox isn't a good prospect but as far as an ideal PG prospect it doesn't get much better than Wall was
For reference this was John Wall in his first summer league (he won MVP of SL that year)
Aside from the obvious physical differences (Fox isn't nearly as solid/strong as Wall, and not quite as explosive) I don't think his ballhandling is as good as Wall's. Fox's handle + ball control looks shaky imo, I think he has small hands . Also Wall was much more advanced as a passer which was obvious even in college, he broke a bunch of assist records at UK.
I really like Fox as a prospect, think he or DSJ will be the best PGs from this draft. But I see more of a Mike Conley Jr level prospect rather than Wall-level.
Yeah like I've always said the comparison of people calling "Rose his floor" right before Rose made a huge breakout and then Kyrie showcasing great skills has made Wall underrated his whole career. Also went to a hound team of low iq players. Guy almost had a triple double in his first game ever though (although lots of TOs too). If we're just talking prospect-wise he's almost the perfect PG given his skills and size and if you look without hindsight probably the best prospect for his position since he's been drafted besides AD.

His shot is still a mess. I expect there to be some major improvements by the beginning of the regular season. Some of his misses were horrible.
Lonzo's performance showed good BBIQ. Smart player and he has the tools to improve.

I'm definitely on the bandwagon. He has the potential to effect the game in so many ways. His lateral quickness is a legitimate worry though. I expect young guys to struggle on defense, but he can't seem to stay in front of his man at all.

Tatum is awesome. Kid needs to play at least 25 minutes a game in Boston as a rookie.
