I still have this weird feeling Utah wins this series.

But man... Paul George is a certified playoff stud. I don't remember the last time he's had a disappointing playoff series. He seems to not only always play at his normal level, but he usually exceeds it in the playoff time.

1) Mitchell/Ingles + Favors PnR. Melo and PPat are poor defenders, if there's a matchup to exploit it's this one
2) Run Alec Burks and Dante Exum off the bench. Force their bench to defend our scorers and force them to overplay their starters, this starts to be more important as the series wears on
3) cross your fingers that George regresses to the mean (even for playoff George)
4) keep challenging every shot

5) have Rubio shoot 1/3rd as much as he did last game

I don't find Rubio's shooting to be his problem, more that other players weren't able to get to their spots and weren't hitting shots. Rubio has been good for us this season and isn't the liability he once was (knocks on wood).

Cant see George going 8/11 on threes again.

Yea that worked well for them

If I remember well, the 2 threes that Ingles missed were open shots with nobody around, great findings by Rubio btw

Let's stop this 'Well, if xy' thing right in its tracks, shall we?

The Jazz shot 47 % from the field, the Thunder 48 %. The Jazz shot 39 % from 3, the Thunder 48 %.

You know what the main difference was? For the Thunder, Abrines+George+Melo took 20 open or wide open 3s and made 12. Who took shots on the Jazz besides Mitchell? Rubio and Crowder.

Russ needs to understand he is the second option during the playoffs because playoff p is now the best scorer on the team. Albrines is a better player than melo at this point in their careers.

Jazz vs Thunder is looking like it will be a good first round playoff match up, and will probably be the best first round match up.
Thunder big names and a not very good supporting cast vs a deeper less known Jazz team.

Paul George or Westbrook or Carmelo can become unguardable awesome stars at any time but will they play well as a team? Stevie Adams can also be very good in his won way. I have doubts about the rest of the Thunder.

I think the Jazz win in the end.

If im Snyder im very pleased with the way the Jazz played in the opener tbh. If anything your using these two games to see where you can exploit the Thunder once ur back at home. George wont stay at this output thats a given, all they have to do is stay in position and anything can happen

The difference in Game 1 was really just PG going 8/11 from 3. That shouldn't be sustainable.

When one team gets outscored 75-105 over a 40 minute timespan, there's more to it than one player making a couple 3s. ;)

I'll just let the games do the rebuttal. Just one thing though, this isn't regular season.

Lol. When did that happen. The Jazz were never down by 30.

After that initial 16-4 lead, the Thunder outscored the Jazz 105-75 over the next 40 minutes before Snyder pulled his players and the end of bench guys went on that fluke run. That's what I meant.

If the Thunder play like that every night it'll be a sweep. Gotta tip my hat to them, they played fabulous.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

If Paul George shoots 73% from 3 point land on 11 attempts per game, this series is already over. Something tells me he'll end up closer to his season average of 40%.

How can you hate Westbrook? He calls his parents before every game!
