I see we've found the first RealGM poster to possess a telepathic link with an NBA player. I have so many questions I've wanted to ask Kevin Durant.. what's his favorite color? Does he play NBA2k10 as himself? Does that feel weird?

In all seriousness, Kevin Durant responded to the question respectfully, and gave his honest opinion on the matter. He's a genuine person. Over the summer goof ball Wayne Winston used adjusted plus minus to justify his claim that he wouldn't acquire Kevin Durant for free. Durant had no harsh words, only words of respect and that he knew he had to get better. What does he proceed to do? He has the second best adjusted +/- (to Dwight Howard) as calcuated by Wayne Winston's website.

Just because Kevin Durant has a different set of values, and responds differently to interviews and criticism doesn't mean he lets it affect his game negatively. I've been following Durant since he came into the league, and if anything, criticism and comments such as the ones Phil Jackson made drive him to become better. If that's the case, I don't understand how anyone could have a problem with his response.

K, love you...bye

I hope he calls it a career sooner rather than later...

And I'd like to see Brown draw up a play once and a while.. ya know...

And on topic, someone asked, is what he said false??

Most FTs in the league for a skinny wing that shoots a lot of perimeter shots? More then Howard? More then the very physical Mello? More then D Whistle?

Its interesting for sure...

Geez, Phil Jackson needs to stop. I feel bad for Durant for getting all caught up in Phil's game.

If KG's comment comparing Durant to MJ was any indication of how Durant responds to this type of criticism, Phil Jackson probably should have thought twice about trying to play mind games.

He got fined for that? I've heard him some say worse things during the end of quarter interviews

Kevin Durant wrote:If the refs pay attention to that and change how they call things because of that, that's terrible," Durant said. "That's terrible to the game of basketball and to us. If that happens, then (coach) Scotty (Brooks) could talk, too. Or any other coach could talk, too, just so the refs could switch everything up. But I doubt they do that.

AAAwwwww, how cute. Lil' Kev is still so innocent thinking everything is fair in the playoffs. That'll be changed in a few weeks.

$35K for that is a pretty reasonable message from Stern. I mean it is change for Jackson but it's still about my annual salary.

Anyway, we'll see how the series is called, but I think it gets the officiating on the table as a story, and then there'll be one game where Durant gets a lot of calls and there'll be all the speculation over the refs, and then the next game there will be a response where they try and show they aren't biased.

So Phil for the win, and if Dr Buss was smart he'd pay him a $35K bonus.
