Phil Jackson already working the refs

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lak ... 8090.storyA day after the Lakers found out they'd play Oklahoma City in the first round of the playoffs, Jackson pointed out that Thunder forward Kevin Durant got a lot of favorable attention from referees.
"Yeah, by the calls he gets, he really gets to the line a lot, I'll tell ya," Jackson said Tuesday. "There's a couple plays in the last game where I was pretty curious how he got there."
The zen master being the zen master. It'll be interesting to see how Durant starts reacting to this stuff now that this stuff is continually being thrown out there. And it'll be even more interesting to see how the refs react to it.

I'll miss Phil when he is gone. Easily one of the more interesting personalities I've seen in sports. He also probably has the best sense of humor in a profession known for humorless and joyless men.

I like it when Phil does this because most of what he says is true but you could say the same for the players he has coached and that would be true.

I can't even imagine what Kobe is going to get away with this year in the playoffs.
Maybe he'll elbow someone in the face while he passes the ball to himself off the backboard, draw a loose ball foul, then still get credit for the shot.
