He's only 21 but I don't see how it can get much better than this. Even if he shot the three the way he did last year it's only a marginal increase.

He'll probably have to learn to score better without getting to the line.. other than that he's such a complete scorer already. Amazing year.

To be precise James had indeed the higher shooting percentage. He made 48% of his shots, while Durant "only" 47.6%.

Anyway, scoring efficiency (in that case TS%) matters more. 21 yr Durant beats out 21yr James in terms of scoring efficiency.

Umm, I would rather have Melo scoring for me, and people forget at the same age as Durant Lebron averaged 31.4 points on a higher shooting percentage, all while taking less freethrows.

I don't think he will be able to. Putting Ron Artest on him while also making him play defense will put that average down slightly. I mean he can get his 30 ppg or higher, I just think it'll be as efficient in the playoffs against the Lakers.

Kobe averaged 30/7/6/2/1 along with 1st Team All-Defense at the beginning of his prime. Durant is not there yet.
