Hedo Turkoglu, he'll only get worse from here.

Shaq, Carter, and Artest. Their teams barely made the playoffs.

Definitely Turkoglu.

The media, and a lot of outsiders, thought the Magic made a bad move by not re-signing Hedo to the 5yr/50mil contract he wanted. They thought the Magic would be worse off this season by bringing in zillion-time All-Star Vince Carter instead.

Yeah, so...it HAS to be Hedo.

i think ron artest has been worse than ariza

on offense he stinks, wat's his fg%? and true shooting percentage...

everytime i see boxscore he's like 2-10 from field....

and he's chucking up a lot of 3s

his defense has not been as good as before its still really solid

if ron artest doesnt pick it up Lakers could lose at some point

He's got a player option to stay with the Pistons nest season. And no one expected him to be some great signing to begin with. Pistons signed him for depth with the awful big rotation they knew they were entering the season with.

1. Turk
2. Gordon (not cause he sucks but #'s are down and didn't make the same impact he did in Chi)

1. Ben Gordon
2. Hedo Turkoglu
3. Charlie Villaneuva
4. Brandon Bass (more on the Magic than Bass)

Gordon is nowhere near Turkoglu. Gordon was oft-injured and benched to showcase Hamilton, whereas Turk just **** all over the team and fans by not even bothering to show up this season.

I vote RJ due to expectations created on player. Looked great, maybe stellar at the time but on the floor, it has barely been tolerable. Spurs fans were really teased on this one. Another example of what looks good on paper, doesn't often look good on the court.

Spurs would take it back in an instant if they could, but playoff performance forgives all.

bust implies that the player was supposed to be a good player. It was quite established that Bass is just a tough role player and can't really do much else besides rebound and be physical down low. Magic just overpaid him.

Charlie V, Ben Gordon and Hedo Turkoglu are all equally bad. Your pick.

To the people listing RJ, he wasn't a free agent. He was traded.

Hedo is the obvious answer. When I heard what they signed him for all I could wonder is why. If Bosh bolts that team is dead in the water with bloated contracts for Hedo, Bargs and Calderno. That's a 30 win team if they get lucky.

The Pistons duo is the next worst. Signing Gordon in an of it self wasn't that bad but to pair him with CV and waste all of your cap space for the next 5 years was just so stupid. I think the brains behind the operation came to be the GM on my team, thank God.

Next is Sheed. Just read Bill Simmon's column on him, it nails Sheed for exactly what he is.

I was one of the few skeptics when they signed Ron, but he has worked out for us greatly. The problem is the offense hasn't ran as smoothly as last year, and Ron often times have to bail the team out with desperate 3s. Just a comparison between last year and this year:

Kobe 09 - 46.7%, 10 - 45.6%
Gasol 09 - 56.7%, 10 - 53.6%
Odom 09 - 49.2%, 10 - 46.3%
Bynum 09 - 56.0%, 10 - 57.0%
Lakers 3 PT shooting 09 - 36.1%, 10 - 34.1%

Outside of Bynum who has been more healthy this year everyone took a dip in their shooting. Spacing has been fubared with the Gasol/Bynum experiment, Fisher is washed up, Sasha and Farmar can't hit a 3 with consistency anymore. The SF spot is the only position where this team has improved from last year.
