Didn't see it on page 1 or 2, so if it's being discussed, don't kill me.
Andrew Bynum has a small meniscus tear, and is questionable for game 1.
http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/n ... id=5154643This is the same thing, although maybe not as severe as Roy had. Roy opted for surgery and managed to come back quickly. Discuss

It seems awfully hard to stay healthy when you are 7+ feet tall and 280+ pounds. Look at Bynum, Oden, Yao, Shaq, Ilgauskus. They are always battling something.

apparently the tear is small enough that hes going to try to play through it

Roy was going to play on his small tear, but it hurt too bad. He said he literally felt better as soon as the surgery was done.

Jazz would be the right team for him to sit out against, but it will certainly extend the series

I was going to make a quip about Andrea Bargnani's amazing durability for one of the league's biggest dudes, then I realized he's Andrea Bargnani

Well Bargnani doesn't have as much weight on him. What is he? 250 at most?

Injury prone, prone to injury.
Bynum is Luke Walton's father without Luke Walton's father quality.

Article said he had a tear last year and this year too, just a matter of time before his leg explodes

He's at least 270, he measured 250 pre draft and has clearly put on 20 pounds+, he's much thicker muscle wise now. Over 280 wouldn't surprise me

Without Bynum the Lakers will go down soon than later.

Bargnani isn't super muscular but he's heavy. He isn't fat either though.
Anyways, this is the reason I'd probably rather have Noah over Bynum in a S&T for Bosh, I doubt Bynum will ever be injury-free. At some point his knees will just collapse and he'll go out for a full year, and then he'll be slightly worse and will still have other injuries. Much like what has already happened to him.

You Suns fans continue to amaze this board with irrational comments that don't make sense. Hell we literally won last year with him being not much of a factor most of the playoffs.
And talking of somebody going down.........your teams vacation will be set by the end of the next week and a half.

Lol come on now...you know Marjjmar isn't representative of any group except trolls. Anyway, Bynum can probably just take the Jazz series off, they don't need him.
