Honestly, the routine is getting a little tired now. As a Knicks fan, I don't even see us as the favorites, but at this point, how can anyone discount the Knicks as a legitimate contender? Even if the tweets aren't true, we now have a trump card in a guaranteed Robin for LeBron to play next to.
carry on..

I like pancakes.
My mind is too numb from all the speculation to process anything so I will just go eat my pancakes. And drool. While rocking back and forth slowly and quietly.

I hope LeBron stays with the Cavs. Because if he doesn't, that team is so screwed.

I still give Chicago a chance...but I think most Cav fans like where we stand. I think smart money is on James signing some type of deal where he can have opt-outs after 3, 4, or 5 years. I think LBJ is going to want to get the full 6 years guaranteed if he wants them, but he will want some opt-outs for wiggle room.
Does anyone know what the contract options are like through the CBA? Can he do a 6 year deal with an opt-out after 3 years? I am sure LeBron wants to protect himself with the new CBA coming up.

BTW...it sounds like there was no 2nd meeting. It was NY people meeting with LeBron's agent...the same way Pat Riley met with LeBron's agent and the same way Cleveland has met with LeBron's agent multiple times over the last few weeks. That is what an agent is for.

Wow.
http://twitter.com/pdcavsinsiderAccording to league source, Knicks are planning another trip to Cleveland to meet with LeBron tonight.
I know i'm a Knicks fan, and that it's in Ohio, but this has to be a good sign no matter what.

A good sign that they're desperate.

One of the most interesting things I've seen in the wiretap is that the Nets won't give Amare 100m unless LeBron comes with it. He seriously has alot of pull this year.

I could see the Knicks or any other team looking to get an additional pitch in being desperate but that doesn't explain why Lebron would meet with them. On a holiday. The day before he's supposed to announce his decision.

Yup. Lebron has the potential to win and people are willing to put trust in that.

He said he's announcing it after his Wednesday Ohio Nike camp. I'm not surprised he's accepting the meeting, he seems to be accepting every meeting. Can't do any harm to listen to every offer.

Exactly, I think that's all this meeting shows, is they're desperate (not as a criticism).

Who knows if LeBron is even going to show up? My guess is that the Knicks are trying desperately to get a 2nd interview with LeBron so they are using Amare' as a way to try and get in a 2nd interview. If they are telling LeBron that they are flying out, I could see him coming out and listening to them.
But at the end of the day these same reports are leading back to the original thought....NY is on the outside looking in. Even in the report of the interview with LeBron's agent from Isola, he still said that the Knicks felt LeBron would sign with Cleveland.

Until he signs, there is no guarantee that he is.
