Why the league should make games 90 minutes long

Before y'all roll your eyes, look at my arguments:
1) This would ensure that no one team can dominate with just superstar players. A guy like Lebron can at best play and affect 45 min(even less if you remove halftime and timeouts). You want to build a "superteam" with just 3 superstars? No problem, we'll beat you with the 4th-18th guys.
2) This would allow a ton of fringe NBDL players, Euros, and maybe even Asians to play in the league, truly making it a worldwide sport.
3) The current players would not object because their salaries are not reduced, nor their playing time increased(though you'd think that they'd want to play even more, as opposed to sitting on the bench), nor decreased.
4) The length of the game can be reduced by removing timeouts, halftime, and free throws. Plus, baseball is long and people don't seem to have a problem.
5) The only bad thing about this is that it breaks tradition, but really, who cares about that. This satisfies everyone currently, and that should be all that matters.

This could be one of the worst ideas I've ever heard, and I'm not kidding at all.
Lets remove timeouts, halftime, and free throws to reduce the time of the games, but add another 42 minutes to the game? And why in the world would Stern want the impact of stars to be reduced? Stars are what people come out to see, and if the impact of stars reduces the amount of profit the NBA makes decreases.

The only agreement I would have is losing TV timeouts, for both the NBA and NHL.

Why? It just makes it a "complete" team game like baseball and football. Just because we're used to 48-min games doesn't mean that's the optimal limit.

Ok, then make the games 60 minutes. But 90? These guys are human beings, not machines, and they play every other day. The only way I could see this happening is if they play once a week like football and thats just a ridiculous thought.

No one wants to see 40 minutes of scrubs playing, I hope this was a joke post.

Fatigue? Injury? Lack of excitement? Some games are hard enough to watch as it is. Imagine those games being twice as long.

That's the idea. No one is forcing his coach to play his star player 40 min. If anything, we should also increase the number of games during the season, just because it would bring more revenue AND the star player's impact is even further reduced(since his coach has to reduce his minutes even more, to prevent injuries.)
