BIG Z: the underrated player of HIS era

As we stand in the beginning of the 2nd decade of a new millennium, it is time to re-access one of the most misunderstood figures in modern basketball history: Zydrunas Ilgauskas ( ʒʲǐːˈdruːnɐs ɪlˈɡɐ̂uskɐs: for those unsure of how to pronounce Chinese names).
His impact should be obvious. Upon arriving in Miami, the Heat have become the true dominant team on global sports. The Heat are on pace to win 60 games, a feat rarely if ever accomplished in NBA history and a feat never accomplished in the NFL. The Cavs as we all saw tonight resemble Hiroshima after the US dropped a hydrogen bomb on the city at the end of WWI.
Upon arriving in Cleveland he immediately turned the team into a contender in his 8th season. He tortured a would be bust in Lebron James and managed to get him on a few all star teams. But for encountering the BIG Z, Lebron would be a combination of Darko, Coleman's work ethic, and Oden's health.
His skill-set is under-appreciated as people think he dominates because of his inhuman athletic ability. There is more to Z than his athletic ability which even leaves him surprised at times.

The core of the Z dominance is his jumper. He hoists it up with an almost Hitleresque cruelty on the other team.
Give it up for the BIG Z. Because if Miami doesn't make him happy, he'll leave. In 2012, they'll be losing by 50 to the cavs.

One of the many photos of BIG Z holding up his many trophy.

Thanks for correcting the only error in my piece. Sometimes even geniuses like myself get corrected by men like you who rode this to school

Big Z will hopefully have his number hanging in the Quicken Loans arena after he retires...he is/was a class act and I hope the stupid trade for Jamison didn't leave a bad taste in his mouth.

In hindsight, the results of that trade reflect Dan Gilbert's mentality last season perfectly; panicked and uncertain...which is coincidentally how Jamison played during the playoffs

If there was a gland in the body for Awesome, Z's awesome gland would be bigger than most men's' entire lower intestines.

Not to mention it wasn't a pair of hydrogen bombs they dropped like that idiot incorrectly stated but fission bombs or A-bombs as you pointed out, although I wouldn't expect a moron like him who makes stupid Hilter jokes to know the difference between fission and fusion. My favorite part had to be this though:

Didn't know it was possible to win 60 NFL games in a 16 game season.

^I believe that's why he put, "a feat never accomplished in the NFL" because it can't be. Maybe the green font was needed for that.

Yes, when on the internet you should be more considerate of those whose diminished mental capacity means they need to be told when something is a joke.

Seriously, whoosh, right over their heads. This is why he doesn't post more now that I think about it.
This reminds me of that game thread last playoffs where Dragic was killing the Spurs, and we started joking he was better than Jordan, would shut down Kobe etc, and a couple of Lakers fans got all offended and thought we were being totally serious. That was good fun.

Hahaha I would've liked to have been here to see that. But I'm having a good chuckle thinking about it. I have a mate who is at uni in the states (fairleigh dickinson?) and i had a round of golf with him today and he was talking about how lots of Americans' just don't get humour the same way we do. Very glad to see some do though. Haha good stuff. Dragic.. hahahaha
