Aldridge vs Kevin Love tonight

I'm a Blazer's fan but I'm tired of the Love bashing from Blazer's fans for Blazer
fans should be happy the guy who plays so many minutes for Portland could use
the time off for he's had to carry Portland for the past seven weeks since Roy
has been out. LA electing not to try out for team USA last summer undoubtedly
guaranteed Griffin, Love and probably Lamar Odom would make the team ahead
of him.

Love's a solid player playing on a bad team. More power to him making the all-star
team.

Hate on Stern and not Love for getting selected because Love wasn't the one who chose to replace himself for Yao, Stern did.

Blazers fans need recognition of their smallest amount of success. They need it badly after karma gave them 2 sets of gimpy knees as a punishment for their premature gloating about the upcoming blazers dynasty with multiple three-peats.

Seriously.

Look, we get it, Aldridge has been AMAZING lately and has helped his team stay in contention for the playoffs, but that's no reason to hate on another player who is having a great season as well. I would trade away Love's all-star status if it meant we could have a winning record and even be contending for a playoff spot, but his all-star selection is basically the highlight of the 10-11 NBA season for us Wolves fans.

I don't think there is a person on this board who can say Aldridge doesn't deserve to be an all-star and mean it.

He's not though, he got snubbed, the real problem is Duncan not love.

On a side note, lol at Aldridge smacking the ball into Love's face, it wasn't intentional but just kind of funny considering all of this.

I agree with Norm...there are some Blazer fans participating in this thread that just need to back off. The arguments have been made over and over.

Love didn't put himself on the all-star team, that was David Stern.

Aldridge deserved a spot, but he's not the only one. Nash and Randolph have a right to feel snubbed as well. And a case can be made for Odom too. Just a lot of guys in the west deserved consideration

The K-Love hate is getting out of hand. I don't even understand it. Can someone explain why ever since he made the all-star team, people are openly bashing him? I understand the sourness from Blazer fans but hate on Stern, not K-Love. He seems like a good guy off the court. On the court, he's a beast of a rebounder. I thought fans loved those gritty type players. Yeah, his D sucks but he obviously tries despite being slow, unathletic, and somewhat undersized. I dunno, did K-Love commit a murder I'm unaware of?

I doubt it was, he and Love were laughing about it right after it happened. Plus LA's not that kind of player.
