I don't understand the point of this thread, either you beat a team or you don't. 'Coming close' doesn't mean anything. You don't see anyone giving Miami any credit for 'coming close' to beating Boston in the first and third games of the regular season this year. Cleveland also didn't get a honorable mention for pushing Boston to 7 games.
I also don't understand why anyone is using the Cavs regular season records as a measuring stick for Miami's regular season. This regular season has been much more competitive than those years when Cleveland won 60+. Who knows how last years Cavs would have finished -- and who cares? The only way to definitively say which team would win between last year's Cavs and this year's Heat is if they played eachother. This thread is pointless.

I agree that this may be the best Boston team. 08' was their first year wasnt it? they've won and been to the finals twice since then and added mor size. Sure they're older but the chemistry and experience makes up for it.
