I agree 100%. The other ones are decent, but I feel uncomfortable watching the MJ one. The moment is to emotional to have a talking ball included in the commercial. The NHL really does their playoff commercials much better than the NBA.

...what would make you say that? KG was 10 when the Celtics won in '86, Camby was 9 when Dr. J won... I remember sporting events from younger than that.

The youngest "memory" from that commercial would be Prince remembering Magic when he was 8.

Yea the playoff commercial this year is wack...some ppl need to be fired ASAP.

My top 3:

1. 2008 playoffs "there can be only one"...very unique
2. 2001 playoffs with Bob Marley "Is this love?" as the theme....b/c it had the Raptors

3. 2005 playoffs with Ali G

Yeah I agree. They are okay. Forgettable, to be sure. I wouldn't say the NBA entirely botched it but they certainly are not on par with past commercials.
