that makes for a decent back up centre in todays NBA..... He would be in big demand

And Jordan would draft him before anyother player mentioned in this thread

...expect maybe Jordan

And Dantley still is underrated despite finally getting into the Hall of Fame, I see....

He's not underrated for being a scorer who mattered little for his teams in the way of winning. Neither the Pistons, nor Jazz missed him all that much, frankly. He got traded to Dallas because he wasn't a willing cog in Isiah's Pistons, to boot. "I don't like that guy (Isiah) right over there."

Utah improved with Dantley on the team. So did Detroit. And as far as Isiah, I think Dantley was absolutely right - I was a Piston fan then and Isiah was just as much of a prima donna then as the public knows him to be now.

John Stockton's playoff line is INCREDIBLE.

27/5/15/1/4 on 72% TS!!!! If we cherry pick individual shooting percentages... 62% FG, 100%3p, 100%FT.

1972-73
"Tiny" Nate "The Skate" Archibald
34 ppg, 11.4 apg, 2.8 rpg, 847 ft%, 488fg%.
League leader in scoring and assists. MVP.
3pts were not in the league yet and SPG were not kept.

Only players to avg more ppg in a season and win MVP since or prior are Jordan, Wilt and McAdoo. Nate was like 5'11.
