I see him more of a smallish two guard with some point skills kind of like Rose, Wall on the other hand is a true point who can score.

Also as a piston fan, no.

He's probably close to as fast as them, that's a plus. Better shooter than either of them, but definitely not as good as either of them yet...not saying he wont/can't be, who knows?

well he must not have been as good as those 2 since Rose/Wall were both #1 picks.

Knight seems like a better shooter and off guard than Wall and Rose were coming out of college.

Knight seems like he'll be more solid than spectacular.

what wall and rose lacked in PG instincts they make up with athleticism. knight's not that type of athlete and he has even worse PG instincts. he's more of a streaky shooter than a good shooter. he has poor shot selection. he's right hand dominant without the breakdown-ability of wall or rose. he has a mediocre first step and did not finish well in the paint. he's smart off the court, but not on it.
he does have good defensive potential though. i think he'll eventually settle in as a solid back up in his prime.

Brandon Knight simply does not have the vision and quicks that those guys have. Rose can jump out of the gym, Knight can't.

Knight is more of like a Chauncey Billups type of point guard than he is a Derrick Rose. Billups has a ring and is a great point guard, helped the Pistons become relevant again. Nothing wrong with that.

He's not as fast or as good of an athlete as Rose and Wall. Coming out of college he is a streaky shooter, but does have an edge on those guys. He is taller than them, but he's got a pretty slight build. I think he'll be able to add some weight though had he's already strong for his build.

His play making ability is a huge question. I don't think he is much far behind Rose coming out of college in that department, but developmental play making is an incredibly difficult skill to project.

If his play making skills don't develop than I see him as a Louis Williams/ Jerry Terry type, probably not the same shooter as Terry but bigger and a better defender. If it does, I could see a Billups like player potentially.

He's more Jerryd Bayless than Rose/Wall.

Knight is a young Devin Harris. Which isn't a bad thing.

He is a score-first 2G, in a PGs body, and he isn't that athletic. If he were even in the discussion with Rose/Wall talent-wise, this draft wouldn't have been pooh-poohed upon so much and he would have been the clear cut #1 overall.

He seems like a guy who can drop 40 on a team every couple of months, but not a guy that can run an offense full-time. I'd almost compare him to Jamal Crawford, but Jamal's a much better ball-handler.

Not according to the combine...he was 6'1½

Rose 6'1½
Wall 6'2¾

I think he's a sleeper, and a good pick for the Pistons. I'm looking forward to watching him play. I seriously doubt he'll be as good as Wall, Rose, or Tyreke Evans, but I expect him to be as good as someone like DJ Augustin.

I think he'll be a lot better than people think. I'm encouraged by him choosing to workout with Rose, Westbrook, and Love awhile ago.

Could the lockout please end?

SMH at even asking that question let alone opening a thread for it.

And for the record I like the kid and his potential.
