He seems like a guy who can drop 40 on a team every couple of months, but not a guy that can run an offense full-time. I'd almost compare him to Jamal Crawford, but Jamal's a much better ball-handler.

Rodney Stuckey is a score-first 2guard in a PG's body. Actually he almost has a SG's body

Brandon Knight is a modern-day PG

Why is Wall in the same sentence as Rose again? It's like putting DeMarcus Cousins in the same sentence as Dwight Howard.

Read the first post...he's comparing Calipari's prior PGs...that's it.

He doesn't have Wall/Rose's jets and passing instincts. He has prototypical tools for a PG, but he isn't a true PG. He has potential as a defender though, and I think he'll be a solid scorer/defender for any team.

Knight reminds me more of Eric Gordon than Wall or Rose

Really? IMO, Knight is more of a Devin Harris type player (good comparison from before) -- blazing fast guard who is not a natural point, but can handle the duties. Gordon is a legit shooting guard in the Dwyane Wade mold -- scorer who can also create for teammates but not a point guard. Not to mention they also have completely different body types...Gordon has 45 pounds on Knight.

Knight game seems a little like Jrue Holiday's. Anyone agree?

I don't think he sees the floor quite as well, and isn't quite the passer. Yet.

But he's a better shooter and has similar defensive potential.

If Knight projects like Jrue with a more reliable outside shot, I'll be really happy.

Knight doesn't have the athleticisim that the other KT Pg's had, however i think he'll be more of a true PG than wall or rose, who are more a dominant go to PG. While Knights more a general (billups type).

He hasn't played one game, but i think 3 years from now, he'll be top 10 pg in the league

I like the Devin Harris comparison. Brandon Knight is a stud, but he is no Derrick Rose or John Wall.
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

A better comparison would be someone like Jrue Holliday.

Maybe. Though, I think a lot of people questioned that when Holiday was entering the league out of college. Holiday went from being one of the the best high school player in the country, to someone that appeared to have underachieved in college. Knight has followed a similar trajectory. I think their style of game is kinda similar as well. They differ from Wall and Rose primarily by naturally being better shooters and worse at the rim finishers.

nah, not really. even in HS jrue played with amazing poise and maturity. the difference in college was that he was shifted off the ball in favor of darren collison who was a top PG in the country and a senior. also, i disagree, jrue wasnt really considered a shooter. in HS and college, he was more of a slasher with a pull up game.
in HS, knight was a gunner. he was certainly prolific, but he had terrible shot selection and wasnt much of a distributor or playmaker. those tendencies carried over to the college game.

i really dont see too many similarities in their games at all...maybe in level of athleticism, but jrue makes up for that with his technique and size.

I think hell be a solid player he can shoot and is pretty crafty but he doesnt have nearly the speed or explosivness that Rose or Wall have..hes just not in their class in terms of physical ability but not many are..

Ok. Just saying that Brandon Knight is closer to Jrue Holiday then he is to Rose or Wall. Of course they're not the same player, but there are similarities. At least in my opinion. I wasn't trying to imply that either are or were pure shooters, rather that both are more naturally inclined to pull up rather than finish at the rim. I guess I'm looking more at the macro, and you're more pretending you're a scout.

If you don't like Holiday as a comparison, who would you compare him to?
