ESPN's Chris Broussard is reporting that lockout negotiations have broken off. No confirmation from NBA or NBPA.
Labor talks between NBA owners and players broke down Friday, just one day after both sides expressed optimism they were close to an agreement that could save the league’s 2011-12 season.
The impasse once again centered on the split of revenue or basketball-related income between the league’s owners and players. One source told Yahoo! Sports that the BRI split was only “partly” responsible for the breakdown in talks. The two sides also “couldn’t agree on the final pieces of the system.”

It doesnt necessarily mean that both sides and pissed & going home mad.
They can wrap it up over the weekend - or else forget a 82 game season
