Why is the NBA acting stupid?

Post#1 » by jman23 » Sun Dec 11, 2011 7:51 pm

I just don't get it. This is the 2nd time they have vetoed another Chris Paul trade sorry if I'm late on this information but this really pisses me off! I've never been this upset at the NBA before.

If a trade was denied the first time, making little arrangements around it would somehow make it better a second time?

Lakers are clearly entitled to Chris Paul, the owner of the Hornets is scum for declining their offer

i think the nba views themselves more in the same league with wwe and tna rather than mlb and nfl. you would think so with the circus stern's been putting on.

legit competition? nah! lets go for dictatorship, bullying, and soap operas!

I think it was wise to prevent a Paul/Kobe/Howard trio. That has to be a main assertion. I would've stopped watching.

The league was gearing towards parity and legit competition until the players told them to piss off.

I think its more accurate to say that they vetoed the same trade twice. "Another" Chris Paul trade is stretching it.

 You may be right just thinking about the referee scandal and the Patrick Ewing draft lottery being rigged justifies this.

Azsports77 wrote:LMFAO at Faker fans crying about the trade for Chris Paul being vetoed and blaming David Stern. Now your all asking for his head which funny because he wanted Chris Paul and Dwight to go to your team all along but the owners would not allow a trade of Paul when 29 other teams own the Hornets . You can bet that David Stern is a corrupt mother **** who does everything for money and the Lakers getting a super team means more money for Stern only this time the owners stood in his way I have a feeling David Stern won't survive this season . They season hasn't started but when it does there are going to be a lot empty arenas. Just maybe the LAker fans are better off without Chis Paul and Dwight Howard I wanna team up because I am not good enough to win it all doing it the right way and its just too difficult is that really what you want on the Lakers . I recall a time when Magic Johnson some one who could get it done and didn't need to leave so he could team up with someone was playing to bad today's players are nothing but little bitches they have the same mentality as Faker bandwagon fans sad really !
 I'm not a Laker fan!

Let's go over the players NO was receiving in the CP3 trade.

Kevin Martin, in the 2009-10 season was traded for an expiring contract. Has no value and is the worst defensive SG in the league. Empty stats.

Lamar Odom. Bench player making starter money.

Luis Scola. Over 30, bench player making starter money. Stats have increased every single year since Houston went from a playoff team to a lottery team.

Laker fans need to buzz off. It's only a "good" deal because CP3 refused to be traded to any team other than the Lakers. Now that the NBA has said that that crap will not fly we will see the Hornets get a real offer that isn't built around 30 year old bench players.
RIP Jared Jeffries. Gone but never forgotten...2006-2012
