According to sources, the Los Angeles Lakers will try to trade Matt Barnes, Steve Blake and first round pick to Utah Jazz for their power forward Paul Millsap.

this true?

this just goes to show that Laker fans are not that smart

The guy was a Kings fan

That was a good one, wasn't it? He claimed he tried to orchestrate the severing of Westhead's brake lines after he was cut. The Jazz had a number of guys on it that were on the cocaina. Iirc, one of them died in a car wreck in which he reportedly had it in his blood (Terry Furlow, one of Magic's old pals).

Maybe Corbin will put up with more.

But then we'd lose our inside connection to Dwight and Baron

Because somebody managed to pull it off on their X-Box..so the figured it could happen in real life.

I would think the Jazz would be morei nterested in the TPE and picks rather than Blake and Barnes. It makes some sense that they'd clear out their logjam of bigs. Milsap, Big Al, Kanter and Favors. Obviously you aren't going to trade those last 2 and you want to clear time for them to play. Big Al is tough to move, so Milsap could be the guy.

after this season they will actually have to send about 12 or 13 million someones way to meet the league min. The most salary they could take off this year would be a little under 7 million

The Jazz would never do this, I call complete BS on this one. They may trade Millsap, but they will and can do much better than this.

two scrubs and a late 1st rounder? Who believes this stuff?

LOL people find this believable? The only way the Jazz GM would do this is if he had been snorting crack. Yes the Jazz have a lot of depth at the 4/5 slots, that doesn't mean they clear it up by trading for 2 pieces of trash and a late 1st rounder. Millsap is coming off his best season yet and has an extremely reasonable contract.
