You didn't mention Minnesota's pick which could be the #1 overall pick. That counts for a lot.

It could just as easily be 7-9 which is not even close to value as the centerpiecs for a 26 year old star PG.

But with the trade, the Hornets pick also jumps into top 5 category. So the get two chances. If the Hornets keep Chris and re-sign Landry etcs, they can still be an 8th seed. Then all they have is the 14 -17 th area pick, and no Paul.
