The Knicks are a great fit for him. He would do well in a D'Antoni system and with that roster.

Still worth it for the Knicks to pick him up. They've used up their capspace for the forseeable future and can with for Davis even if he's not back until the playoffs.

Risky roll of the dice for any team, 8 to 10 weeks in a short season. Going to be a very tough sell for any team owner.

Unless he is bluffing. Did the agent actually share medical records, or is this all verbal posturing?

If he's faking the back injury they did a very nice job on the back (no pun) story.
Davis hasn't been practicing with the team and has been seeing specialists.

Still not sure this made sense for the Cavaliers. Next off season, when Jamison falls off too and the Cavaliers will be swimming in cap room it does, but not right now.

This seems like a favor for him.
Hopefully he's New York bound. Just makes them a tougher matchup for the Heat.

His back was supposedly injured before this game. It was the reason he didn't play in the GSW game and could barely move in that one.

Lol @ people actually believing the over embellishment of the back story. "Out til march" He may not be 100% but its not that serious. If he's picked up by a team he'd like to play for, he'll recover pretty quickly.
Unfortunately, lakers will probably get him. Makes too much sense for them not to. And if not them, then someone else.

Billups was only claimed by one team and was claimed because that team had legitimate playoff aspirations. I don't see any other team that is now under the cap that can make that claim too. No way he is claimed.
