Kyrie Irving Will Be the Next Best Thing in the NBA

Post#1 » by KING CB4 » Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:41 pm

People shouldn't sleep on this kid. He isn't as atheltic as Wall or Rose, but aside from drving to the rim, he is better at everything else than them. He will be the best shooting PG in the league not named Steve Nash. I think he breaks into the top 10 easily for point guards this season and top 3 by his 3rd season.

Rose will be the best shooting point guard in the not-so-distant future.

Profound counter-argument is profound.

I don't know, Rondo will probably give him a run for his money.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I was not that impress from what I saw at College . He's not Rose or Wall's level .

No one can really counter since you didn't even give facts as to why it'll happen. All anyone can say to counter is 'no he won't'.

You think Kyrie will be a better shooter than Steph Curry?

 at Irving being better at shooting than Curry. And I'm still not sold on him. I see him as a fringe top 10, arguable top 5.

I'm deeply skeptical of him being any sort of star.

I watched the first half of the Cavs/Pistons game last night to get a look at Kyrie. He showed off some skill. I think he will be a top 10 PG, but not the centerpiece of an elite team.

No. He won't. Come on man, take those glasses off.

As for Kyrie, I think he'll be a good shooter, but way too many people are sleeping on Stephen Curry:

Career:

43.9% from three (722 attempts)
58.1 TS%
91.1 FT% (including 93.4% last year)

that first game , he really does move and play like Chris Paul.

not a good shooting night, but i was really impressed how efficient he was, just like CP3

Derrick Rose ranked 29th amongst PG's in shots between 10-15 feet from the basket last year. Making 42%

Number 1 was Aaron Brooks at 60% and Number 2 was Luke Ridnour at 58%

From 16-23 feet, Derrick Rose was not in the top 40 amongst PG's..
